It was okay. For people who don’t come from a Spanish-speaking origin, it’s kind of hard to interpret the menu. The food was good though, and the way they pour the water in a wine bottle was unique.

Decent tapas place with outdoor seating and two separate dining rooms. The restaurant has two dining spaces, one you enter from Marcy Street, the other is kind of around the back and is called the 'Taberna'. Same menu items for both. They really have too many tables jammed into both spaces making dining an unpleasant experience. Lighting is not good, overall interior design is lacking. Food was passable but not great. A person started playing live music at around 7 PM, much too loud for such a small space. Not a restaurant I would care to visit again.

Really enjoyed my retirement celebration with my wife. A great meal, selection on wine and time with my love. Tappa's we're excellent, added the paella and had a great meal. Our host was helpful and well informed on wines and the menu. The artichoke tapa and the paella were perfect.

Overall good, but the baguette was disappointing- cold and not that fresh. Cheese plate could use more variety- the sangria olives were delicious but the cheese just ok. The asparagus salad was the winner. Pricey

Another little gem of a tapas restaurant that I stumbled upon. Geszpacho was wonderful, followed by hallibut cheeks and a baguette to soak up the sauce. Environment great, waitstaff superb! She even gave me recommendations about a hiking stop when I’m headed out of town! Check this place out!

Good food but a bit pricey. Paella classica is delicious but too salty. Service is good.

Lovely restaurant. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic. The wine list is also delicious. The only draw backs are that the space is very tight. I do recommend making reservations because they are very busy. Lastly, they are family friendly because they have high chairs but they do not have a changing table in their restroom which made things difficult for us when we went with our daughter. If you don’t have children it is no problem, obviously. :) Highly recommend.

As pleasant a dining experience as you can imagine. Great wait staff!
One in our party has an egg allergy, and had been to La Boca for fried chicken night. This is offered every other Wednesday, only. Their recipe has no egg in the batter. 3 of the diners had the Fried chicken, I had the hanger steak. All were excellent.
I give the creme brulee a big thumbs up, too.
Oh, excellent selection of wines by the glass here. Bottle prices are pretty hefty.

Amazing small plates, creative craft cocktails, great wine list make for a wonderful meal. Great atmosphere, comfy dog friendly patio and a great staff make for an even better experience!

This place was wonderful, small but wonderful. We had the olives, anchovies, artichokes, garlic shrimp and a small paella... paired with a great Spanish wine we walked away glowing about the flavors that we experienced. Great attentive service..
Oh wait I forgot to mention the TACOS which blew our mind!
I’d go back but there are so many places to check out in SF while we are here on a getaway..
We had the pleasure of going to Spain last summer, the food here was just as tasty..
Foodies should love this place...
Update: returned here in Aug 2022 and everything we experienced on our first visit was just as wonderful the second time. Patatas Braves, Shrimp, Anchovies, Tuna, Kale Salad, and let's not forget the olives with the amazing orange zest flavor.
Once again our foodie palates were very happy.
