The restaurant is pretty sad looking and the service extremely slow. We ended up leaving after a few minutes, as the menu was not all that impressive.

I paid 7.75 for a cup of coffee to go! Robbery! 8 oz no less!

Took my wife there for our 19th anniversary.
The food is FANTASTIC. Very good prices, great service. I very much RECOMMEND La Boca to everyone .

We dined at La Boca on multiple recommendations from locals. We arrived via reservation and were seated immediately. Unfortunately, after we ordered our food, there was a 30 minute delay prior to receiving anything...and what we were supposed to receive (a cheese plate), went to the table behind us. Upon realizing the error, the staff attempted to give us the cheese plate that sat at the other table of guests, which we refused in this new COVID world.
Other than the service being an absolute mess (not one person's fault: the hostess sat too many people at once, the server was overloaded, and the bartender attempted to act as food runner), the food met expectations. If the service was on par with the food, this would have been a higher star review, but we will likely not return.

Delicious food and great service in a nice intimate setting in downtown Santa Fe. Expect a menu of classical Spanish tapas (cheese, meat, olives, patatas bravas, fish etc), very well executed, and priced quite high for the size of the portions. But worth it overall!

Came here on vacation and was blown away by the food. Wished I lived closer so I could come back
Bacon wrapped dates were my favorite. Bruschetta was delicious but not at all what I was expecting.

Very good food. Make sure you order the soup they recommend. Our server is a senior server, who is very helpful and informative. The quality of food is superior, with authentic flavor.

It had been several years (maybe a decade??) since we had been to La Boca, but we enjoyed it so much last time that we made it a point to go when we were back in Santa Fe.
We were glad to find that the food, service, and atmosphere were just as good as we remembered! Like many upscale tapas places, the prices can add up quickly, but it was worth it as a splurge. Standouts were the chicharrones, manchego cheese in rosemary oil (which paired fantastically with our glasses of sherry), and the blood orange tart with orange blossom yogurt. 😋 We also enjoyed the gambas al ajillo and flank steak. In other words… everything was good!
