Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Always a great place for ice cream and blizzards, but these smothered breakfast burritos were really good. Made with NM chile so thats a huge plus!

I’m reviewing only this visit. Let me say that I give 5 stars to every single previous ones…and they’re quite a few. So my wife and I live in Carlsbad and we sometimes drive to Roswell just to get a blizzard. But the one I got on Monday 10/03/22 was quite disappointing. My wife ordered a small Cookie Dough and she was happy with it…as usual. I ordered a Royal Chocolate Brownie and…well…here it goes: when the server clerk Petra S (according to the receipt) gave us our Blizzards, it caught my attention that she didn’t flip them…then I found out why…as soon as I grabbed the cup, it started dripping on my hand….it was melting…so if she had flipped it, it would’ve fallen off the cup. So I pulled around the parking lot to return it but it started to make a mess in my truck so my wife and I had to clean the cup holder and the center console. Why would they give a melting blizzard to a customer? Anyways, I’ll consider this a single unpleasant event, so we’re planning on going back anyways this coming Saturday.

So happy that they have the classic menu. The peanut buster parfait isn't available at locations in my home town.

Best made vanilla chocolate dip cone I have had in a year.perfect size cone ice cream evenly dipp ed..I had to pull over to dig it in full.

Owner should fire the swingshift crew and start over.
Customer service here sucks.

OMG the cherry 🍒 misty slush is soooooo delicious wish we had a place to eat like that here in Artesia......

Not sure where they get their staff from but they need to go back. Customer service is non existent here. Got our order wrong then couldn't get us our money back that they over charged us. Cheeseburgers were missing cheese and food took about 15 minutes to come out of kitchen. Will not be going back to this Dairy Queen until something drastic changes.

This DQ went above & beyond in serving our youth group while on our way home from camp. We called in an order for around 70 people the day before and they had it ready for us. They set up their patio area & invited us to stay & eat there instead of having to eat on the charter bus. Then they gave all of our kids an ice cream cone. Thank you for great service!!!

Stopped here with a large church group and had excellent service. We called our food in before we arrived and we were greeted by the owners and a very friendly staff upon arrival. Our food was eady on time, hot and fresh. The inside of the restaurant was also very clean. I would highly recommend stopping here.

The desert was yummy, the fries were old and stale, the chicken was good.
