Overall it was a decent restaurant. The wait was a little long. Service a little slow. I got the brisket nachos as a meal. Fantastic queso. Brisket amazing. But.. there were 30,000 jalapeños. Ok, that might be an exaggeration. But there were way too many. And it was a huge serving of nachos. Definitely plenty to share.

I see a lot of good reviews, and I’m dumbfounded. Hopefully they just had a bad day, but the brisket was dry and chewy. We waited almost an hour for our food, and most of us ordered soup and grilled cheese or a brisket plate. Great atmosphere, but poor food and service when we went (though the waitress was very nice…think it was a kitchen issue).

UPDATE: I spoke with the front of house manager today. She was very apologetic and promised to work with her team to improve the customer service. I appreciate the time she took to make it right for us. Thank you for your care and prompt response to this issue.

We hiked all day and were really looking forward to dinner and some beers. Unfortunately, the service was horrible. The food was good so was the beer, but the service was so bad we left without getting dessert or another beer. Plus my husband decided not to get any crowlers. It was such a disappointment.

Their BBQ sauce is delicious, full of flavor. The smoked chicken was amazingly tender. They have a good range of beers, including low IBU options -- very much enjoyed the Rogue Moose Altbier. And the honey in the root beer made it top notch! Also appreciated our waiter, Reese, sharing info about the beer and the area.

My wife and i shared two flights, which allowed us to sample all but one of their beers. All of them were very good to excellent! That's rare for me to say about a brewery. My only complaint is about the pricing of their flights. It's actually cheaper to get six individual 5oz pours than it is to get a flight of six 5oz pours. Strange. We didn't realize this until after we ordered.

The BBQ plate we had was above average but we ran into another small issue. We ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, pork tenderloins and ribs, not knowing there was a huge upcharge for the ribs. They were ok but not worth the upcharge.

Our server was new but he was wonderful!

Elevated experience. Great establishment with above average spirits and beer. Highly recommend. We are super stoked to bring a couple three or four bottles home with us. This is the best place in Red River. Visit here!

It was great! The hatch burger was awesome and my husband had the Reuben sandwich and loved it! He had the sampler of beer and liked them but his favorite was the cat skinner IPA. Service was good and love the atmosphere. My girls had the mac n cheese and they liked it. They really loved their fries.

We met some friends in town, and they suggested this restaurant. It was a super recommendation! The Hatch Burger was excellent! Also, try the chips they make in house. For dessert we had a root beer float. They make the root beer AND the ice cream. It was so good!

The prices are high-ish, but typical of a small mountain town. Slow service, even though it was not crowded. The person with me ordered a medium rare burger, and it came beyond well done and was totally dried out. I understand some places do not like to serve a burger that is even slightly rare. But this is confusing because the server asked how my friend wanted it done. My salad was okay, but then, it's hard to mess that up. Very disappointing.

We really enjoyed hanging out at Red River Brewery! The food and drinks were yummy ... and Miranda was so friendly and helpful!!! Hubby tried a couple different IPAs and I really liked the "Don't Text Your Ex" cocktail! We started with the fried cheese (oh yeah!) and we both had the Green Chili Burger ... amazing! We sat on the patio and had a beautiful view and a bit of sunshine! Bought a bottle of their house distilled vodka to have at our home bar in Texas! Overall 5 stars for sure!
