The food here is by far the best in Red River as far as lunch and dinner go. Aside from being a brewery with tons of beer options, their food is stellar! We had their sweet chili chicken wings as an appetizer as well as onion rings and they were both delicious! The chocolate chip skillet cookie with homemade vanilla bean ice cream was absolutely perfect! Their service is less than stellar (we went three days in a row and it took nearly fifteen minutes to get our waters each time), but the food makes up for it!

Super cool place. Fun atmosphere. Great food. Servers are great. Miranda is our favorite server. We highly recommend this place! The BBQ is excellent. Great beers to choose from and the sides are so good! They carry everything from sandwiches to BBQ plates to salads.

For a touristy area, the food and service was very good. I highly recommend the Greenie Peak Wheat beer and the Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich, but all beers and food we tried were quite good!

A True Western Gem: Red River Brewing – Exceptional Brews and Hospitality
I reckon it's high time I shared my experience at Red River Brewing, located at 217 W Main St, Red River, NM 87558. Picture this: a scene straight out of a classic western film, with Wyatt Earp and Clint Eastwood walkin' in, ready to enjoy a fine meal and a cold brew. That's how it felt when my wife and I stepped foot into this fine establishment.
My wife has been comin' to Red River for over 40 years, and let me tell you, this brewery is a staple of the town. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the moment we settled in, we were greeted by our server, Modesta. Now, this young lady was the epitome of Western hospitality – welcoming, friendly, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed.
The food and drinks were nothing short of a masterpiece. My wife and I enjoyed a hearty lunch, and the quality of the brews left us mighty impressed. You could taste the care and craftsmanship that went into each sip, and it made us feel right at home.
Now, back to Modesta. She was attentive and kind throughout our visit, sharin' stories and makin' us feel like we'd been part of the Red River Brewing family for years. I can't say enough about her excellent service – it was the kind of hospitality you'd expect from an old friend.
So, if you find yourself wanderin' through Red River, make sure you pay a visit to this fine brewery. I guarantee you'll be treated to exceptional brews, delicious food, and the kind of service that would make Wyatt Earp and Clint Eastwood tip their hats in appreciation. Red River Brewing has our highest praise, and we'll be returnin' every chance we get.

Been coming to Red River for skiing since 2014 and have always loved the small, family friendly atmosphere. The first year the brewery opened it was a "let's give it a shot" decision and we've literally eaten there once a day of every trip we've made since (and sometimes twice because it's that good). There's almost always a wait and for good reason - amazing food and perfect craft beers! Nothing on the menu has disappointed, from the appetizers to the desserts. Our favs are the cheese curds but the poppers are catching up quick. The ruebens are fabulous and the burgers beyond juicy and flavorful. Want some heat? Try the ghost burger - it's hot but not too much unless you can't take even a little heat. Also, if Adam is working ask for his section as his service is unmatched! You'll be back again and again I promise!

This place is great! Really close to where we were staying, lively and cozy atmosphere, outdoor firepit, extremely nice and helpful staff, yummy food, and a great drink selection. We went for our anniversary and my husband left his cell phone at the bar. Unfortunately we had to leave before they opened the next day, and they offered to ship it to us! We'll definitely go back the next time we're in Red River.

Really enjoyed our meal here after snowshoeing at the “Enchanted Forest” ski and snowshoe area. Very nice atmosphere- cozy and laid back vibe. Great service- our server was friendly and attentive and our food was served quickly, fresh and hot. The portions were very generous and everything tasted very good. The poutine stood out as a large and delicious appetizer, and probably the best poutine I’ve had outside of Quebec, Canada- no exaggeration. The crafted beers were also very good and the selection was more than adequate. Would definitely come back again and highly recommend to others.

The beers were great. The food was mediocre and sufficed to fill our hungry stomachs after driving for 12 hours to get to Red River. I ordered the roast beef/provolone sandwich and the beef was salty. I couldn’t dip it in the au jus because it was like eating a container of salt. The kettle chips were good and had a nice seasoning on them. My husband ordered a burger and it was extremely basic for the price. Our son ordered the brisket sandwich and it lacked flavor. The ambiance is cool and they have merchandise for sale. I would stick to the beer/other drinks and skip the food.

We tried the beer flight and spirit flight and all drinks were AMAZING. Our sweet waitress kept up full on waters and appetizers during our 3-hour stay at the brewery. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Red River.

Terrible, nearly hostile service. I asked for a very simple, low carb modification to my burger on a very slow afternoon in April (no skiing, no summer traffic) and was served the worst food by an angry bartender (who was chatting to other patrons at the bar about how much he hated his life and job!!).... the atmosphere was so strange and hostile that I didn't eat the food (I'm sure it had spit in it!!), left a large tip (because grace is an example) and got the heck out of that awful place. Next time I take this drive, I'll pack my own food. Or just stay in Santa Fe where the food is excellent and service is professional.
