Great little joint in the heart of Portales. Fresh breads for all the sandwiches to be built on. Great selection of sandwiches. Good size portions for the sandwiches. All sandwiches come with house made chips and your choice of slaw, potato salad, or pasta salad. Just a small cup for the sides. See pictures.

Lots of cupcake and cookie options as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Eclectic seating area if you’re interested in eating in.

Went in for breakfast. We had some time to kill. We were admiring the old arcade games we played in the 80s, when we were rudely interrupted by a worker demanding we not open the door. The owner shortly, followed the employee and stated that's all she needed was another child in the window for her business to be bankrupt. She too, was not very pleasant. You can draw your own conclusion..

The sandwich is packed full of flavor and character. All the ingredients marry well together from the savory meats to the flaky croissant. Will highly recommend this sandwich and restaurant. The staff was super friendly and loving.

My daughter is a college student at ENMU and she recommended this place to us. We absolutely love it and stop in every time we are up here. I could go on and on about how amazing the food is. How great the staff is or how I just love the set up, but today the one single thing that I experienced is the thing that sets this place apart from all others and as strange as it may be it’s the woman’s restroom. I went in to change my son and noticed that there was an amazing changing table that just so happened to be stocked with various sized diapers for those just in case moments they also have feminine hygiene products as well, yet the icing on the cake was the sign hanging above the changing table. To sum it up it basically says for breastfeeding mothers to feel free to feed their child and to be comfortable wherever it may be and if they felt they needed privacy to let them know and they will accommodate them. This right there meant the world to me as even in this day and age I still get sideways glances when I nurse my baby. So this restaurant supporting women is what makes this place stand out above the rest.

A real , must see little place. Very friendly people, good food, relaxing. Will frequent every time in Portales, NM.

This place is a hidden gem! GREAT food and even better service! My husband and son were even impressed , which is hard to do! Very unique and diverse menu! Everything is homemade and fresh. Their desserts and drinks are amazing as well. I might have eaten my cupcake before my food came and I’m not sorry :) This will be a nonnegotiable anytime we are close to Portales!

Oh wow i love this place, the sub i had was the mobster. It was really good, so was the cucumber salad!! I love that salad so much. I also had mushroom soup, it was great.

Atmosphere is amazing, food is delicious, dessert is to DIE for. Customer service is top tier. Enjoy this place always !!

I've been coming here over a span of two years and the staff is always kind, the food is always great and delicious. I've never had a problem whether I ate in or took out. There was a time that a lady accidentally dropped glass on the counter and cut her hand, my boyfriend didn't notice. I only knew by her quick actions, the area was quickly cleaned and sanitized (there was no blood on the counter) by another worker. I hope that lady is okay, I didn't see her after she went in the back.
