Good burger and fries. One of the few places I will eat out in Portales. Decent prices.

Easy ordering process. Walk up to the counter and place your order. Take your number and have a seat. The burger and fresh cookies fancied my appetite. There are further coffee, pastry, and sandwich options as well.

The food here is delicious. I always have a good experience when I come. I also love their homemade chips. I tried one of their cookies for the first time the other day and that was really good too. This is my favorite place to have lunch in Portales.

Wonderful place!! Very friendly...great food!! The wait for the food was a little long. Other than that...loved it!!

First time eating here and the food was pretty good. Waiting time was a little long for there only being 4 people. Food was served but the server did not know which plate was which. My meal was decent but took the longest to come out at a waiting time of a whopping 30 minutes. Ketchup bottles were empty so I asked server for some ketchup. Server (who was also the clerk) said she'd bring out some ketchup but never did. Thoroughly disappointed in the service here. I have heard many great things about Courthouse but my expectations were not met. Cookies and fries were great. Fries would've been better with ketchup though. I only asked for ketchup and that couldn't even be bothered to be given. Would've used the ketchup bottles that are provided....if they were actually filled. Overall i give the food 3 stars and the service 2 stars. Call me old fashioned but when a customer asks for ketchup, they should receive ketchup. If the crew is not capable of bringing ketchup out then maybe they are not capable of working in a restaurant....just food for thought. I will probably only return for cookies in the future. Courthouse Cafe, do better.

This cafe has the best sandwichs in town! The service was outstanding and just come on in and make your self at home..

First time coming to the Courthouse Cafe. We have seen all of the postings about this place but have never made it in because we live in Clovis. First thing coming in the environment was very enjoyable my son loved seeing all of the different games set up as well as kid friendly items. We were greeted with possibly the best customer service I have had in a really long time. There were plenty of food options with descriptions. When our food arrived we were met with hot and delicious food. I got a sandwhich and my wife a burger. They exceeded our expectations with taste and presentation. We will definitely be back just based on customer service alone. I'm excited to try the other options on their menu. Our first impression was a good one and we cant wait to go back to try more!

Such a great and unexpected find in Portales, NM! We came in with several large groups and all our orders came out quickly and the food was delicious. Make sure you save room for dessert!
