The Courthouse Cafe LLC

My kids and I loved this place. The food was really good and affordable, and the cold brew was good and I'm kinda picky! The kids had fun with the arcade games and ride on toys! We also got some of the cupcakes and they were delicious and looked awesome! Also the staff was really really nice!!

I have to admit pulling up to the place and seeing the broken rides out front and walking into a shotty appearing arcade, I was concerned about what we were getting ourselves into. Don't judge a book by its cover. Wonderful people, huge portions of fresh good, great coffee and they are focused on family and that is awesome.

Solid experience! This is a great lunch stop or meeting place in downtown Portales! The sandwich is good, and the chips are homemade!

This place was Awesome! Clever designed interior complete w gift shop. Retro electronic games to play and old fashion electric "kiddie" rides. Sandwiches are outstanding and served w homemade potato chips. Plenty of decadent goodies for dessert or snack. And Wonderful coffee.!! Just a fun and unique cafe!

Ordered in person for carry out. The place was not very crowded.

The food was made fresh, so it was a little bit of a wait. Still, the wait was not too long.

My husband ate his burger and there was a hair in it. Mary, was so kind and apologetic and gave us a new burger.

All the food was delicious. We ordered the Billy the Kid Burger, The accountant, the parole board, and the Havana sandwich. All the food was great.

Food is so darn good! It's pretty pricey there but I think it's worth it. We only had burgers there and every one we have tried has been finger licking good. Service was good they are friendly and are eager to help.

Great sandwich shop! The desserts were amazing and fresh! They also have a little gift shop and arcade area!!

Food wasn't anything crazy good, pretty basic. The place is very intresting and nice visuals. There was one guy there that was staring at us like a mental while picking his nose. So creepy. He ended up leaving which was good so I didn't have to go Karen on him but the cookies and little desserts up front are a super nice touch. I would say if they cleaned a little better get a nice aroma in there and get the food a little better up to par and make sure the flavors are popping and hotter to the table this place could be 4.5 star for the town its in. Just smells old and dusty but for sure heading in the right direction. I could see this place being packed for all 3 meals. Also let people sit to order rather than order at the counter. Friendly staff, good food. Was sad the biscuits and gravy were sold out, but the burrito was good. Things for kids (big and small) to do while you wait. Got some cupcakes to enjoy later.

We are from Tularosa, came up on a lil road trip and stumbled across this Cafe :)
Excellent dining experience!! The food was delicious but the most refreshing thing was the Customer Service! Everyone in the Establishment was Friendly and Smiling (even tho they had masks on, you could tell they had a smile :) )
We will definitely be stopping in again! Thanks!!!!
