Sweetwaters at Landalls

This place is amazing. We were in portales for a horse judging clinic so we had a large group of kids that were tired, this place really brought them joy and they really enjoyed the ice cream. Great food and excellent costumer service even with a large group of kids that couldn't decide what they wanted the staff was patient and quick. Definitely does not disappoint.

The ice cream is homemade. It is very delicious. They give you very generous scoops. The price is very worth it. Their other food is also very delicious and priced right. Very friendly staff. Eclectic decor.

Excellent food and ice cream. Husband normally gets ham and cheese panini and I get the Angry olive salad or a soup. We have not had a food or flavor of ice cream we did not like so far.

They offer a rewards program, you can order online, call in, or dine in.

Owner and his mother are genuine and kind. They treat you like family.

Love this place!! just moved back home last year and this place has great food and ice cream! love the Portales legacy sandwich and tomato soup it’s probably the best tomato soup ive ever had!! im not fond of any tomato soup ! but theirs beats even Panera outta the water!! a must try :). also very polite and good customer service.

We were passing through Portales on our way to Arizona when a local recommended here. Boy, it did not disappoint! Everything was the absolute best! Thank you for everything!

We absolutely love this place and drive kinda far to visit it but it’s worth it! Their ice cream is homemade and some of the best I’ve ever had! My absolute fav is the lemon cookie it is perfection. They have tons of delicious and original flavors. I’ve also had coffee here which is also great! Everyone who works here is always friendly and polite, especially the owner she is such a sweetheart. Also, one thing that I was pretty impressed with was one time we went in 15 minutes before they closed to grab some ice cream & the girl who served us was still very nice. Which I appreciated because I get it, people want to go home. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Amazing experience! Staff was incredibly helpful and nice, and the ice cream really is tasty! The Cookie Monster flavor is a must!

This was such a cute place! Great food and service! Cauliflower crust pizza is a must! With homemade ranch! The buttered cornbread ice cream was delicious 😋 (also homemade) The coffee was so yummy! Great selections! Definitely will be back for more! The staff were very helpful and friendly! Plus a clean fun environment!
