Plateau Espresso

The espresso was delicious and customer service great, but it was the view that makes this 5 stars. What a gorgeous one this place has!

Everything was clean inside, the decor is cute, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Try the banana nut muffin 🍌

5/5 - This is one of the best coffee shops in Alamogordo, unique location, friendly staff, well curated menu list.
We stopped by to have some coffee and sandwich, and their panini tasted great. The ambiance is excellent. They have an old telephone booth and great vintage items in the cafe. Spacious, they have inside and outdoor seating.

Coffee and service were great! Also beautiful views and plenty of seating.
Don't bother with the "scone". I love love love scones. The one here is more like a flat cookie wrapped in plastic wrap.

Best London fog in the southwest! The view from their patio is amazing! And it's always friendly service.

The coffee and view has kept me coming back almost daily for around 7 years now. If you're passing through Alamogordo, you don't want to miss it! Plenty of space to park an RV or camper as well in their upper parking lot.

The over place is nice great location the view is nice from the patio but for a Sunday they seemed a bit under staffed. The coffee was good but to wait a while to get it along with the food. I was expecting something different and it left me wanting.

Great place. I love going at night. Their patio is the perfect place to watch the most beautiful sunsets over the mountains and the coffee is amazing.

Employees, apparently family members, are rude to customers. This young individual was being very disrespectful to my wife, her friend, and in front of some younger children. Was messy when hastily making the dessert that they forgot, and got even more rude when given some constructive advice from someone who has graduated restaurant management. While my family was trying to enjoy their dessert and the sunset, this same person had the audacity to come out and kick my family off the premises. Beware of this business. If the owner has common decency, he should refund the $18.07 she paid. Although that's not near enough apology for the way my wife and friends were treated.

Visiting from Pennsylvania, we were craving a good coffee and chill spot. Plateua Expresso is by far the best coffee shops we have ever visited. Outstanding chais and coffee. The friendliest staff we have encountered in decades...our batista (AV) I believe his name was by far the nicest, most polite and helpful young man I've ever met. Shout out to Bella for helping us find new local hiking spots. What was supposed to be a one-time visit...has led into an everyday stop after hiking or shooting ranges. This place is a MUST STOP. Good job to management and their employees!

Didn’t realized I came 10 min before closing but the gentleman still took my order. Americano was perfect ! And the view ! Amazing
