Plateau Espresso

Great place to by and enjoy a nice cup of joe! This is our second time visiting Alamogordo and this is our second time here! We will stop by every time we are in town. The view is outstanding. We haven't tried any of the hot food, only the pastries. Pastries are good too!

It is comfortable and has a really nice view of Alamogordo. Oh and the coffee is good too...

The staff is usually cool but some of the teenage girls are way more concerned chatting with their friends than serving you. When they close down, they're very rude about it and will kick you out! I was never allowed to do that when I worked in coffee shops, I had to wait until customers were ready to leave. One night I didn't have a ride yet and asked to stay inside until he arrived and they said no and made me sit on a bench in the cold until my ride showed. They have $1 iced tea and free WiFi. Lots of comfy places to sit. Beautiful view of the organs and San Andres mountains and White sands and the whole tularosa basin. I've never gotten a bad drink...I recommend the London fog or white mocha. The iced tea is good too. The food is mediocre and very overpriced, served only with plain chips, no other options. The baked goods and cookies are pretty delicious, fresh, and moist. It can get way too crowded at times.

The barista is very friendly and calm. Calm atmosphere, beautiful furniture and both interior and exterior design. BEAUTIFUL LOOKOUT. Prime location. Quality products and lots of space.

I was in there the other day & the young man had to deal with a rude lady because they didn’t have chocolate ice cream but went out of his way to put chocolate syrup on vanilla ice cream & didn’t even charge then continued to complain about every drink that was made then called her husband to get him in trouble. He was very professional never rude & made amazing drinks for us!!! The picture that SC posted of the ice cream was after they had eaten it, I SAW THEM EATING IT!!! Thank you again for the drinks & I apologize that you had to deal with rude entitled people like that!!!

I didn't think I'd find decent coffee in Alamogordo, let alone at 3p. When the other two coffee shops in town had closed and I was headed to the Space Museum, I swung through here. The service was fast, friendly, my coffee was great, and the place was packed with happy patrons. Would definitely go back here over and over again! I had wished I knew they did food before eating some lame snack before going there, because it looked pretty delicious.

Countless flavor options for great coffee! Decent selection of goodies and small selection of medium entrées. Better food by far than most coffee shops. I've tasted everything on the menu and recommend the Reuben or the Chicken Portobello. Great place for a first/coffee date! Prices are slightly higher than average

Mmmm yeah, this place is ok. Same coffee you can get anywhere. Haven't had much luck with the food, but the atmosphere is ok. Great view and a good place to meet people.

The coffee is great. We had a cold brew and a london fog with a shot of espresso. Very good. The employees were nice but not overly friendly. Very prompt service.
