Plateau Espresso

This is the local coffee shop that was around before frequenting a coffee shop was a thing. Their coffee and signature drinks still rival Starbucks even now. Lunch and snack items are also an available tasty treat. Average and expected pricing.

Great quiet place to come and enjoy your java. Ample electrical and internet access for computer plugin.

The plateau patio vista overlooks Alamogordo, faces west, and is sure to offer you some fantastic views around sunset.

The owner shorts his employees on hours and wages. He has created a toxic environment that makes the employees miserable. This is the best coffee in town and the owner needs to sell the business. The workers are visibly upset every time you go there.

Somebody recommended us to stop here and get some coffee, the place is very clean, The employees are extremely courteous and very knowledgeable, love the way they serve their coffee with ice being made out of coffee The flavor lasts throughout the day their food was excellent highly recommended

Great location and good coffee. Plateau is an excellent place to come and either work or study or even to just get together with a few people to chat. The environment is relaxed and comfortable and just a stones throw from the NMSU Alamogordo campus. Highly recommend.

Love the view off the patio. The employees are super. We go there often.

Got a Latte, and it was okay.. a little bitter even when sugar was added. Not much of a selection but it has the most pretty view of the town! Prehaps some cafe music, some more baked goods and a little more random wall things to male it cosy and this review would have almot more stars

Best coffee around, by far!!! I enjoy the beautiful view on the porch while sipping my coffee. The baristas are talented and friendly. Plateau also has a drive through.

Highly recommend. A cute little espresso shop with an amazing view, superfriendly staff, and pretty great sandwiches, they are very simple and elegant sandwiches that deliver exactly what they suggest.

This place is so badass New Mexico should make it a state park.

The view you get when you sit outside or near the window.

The food. The couches. The book shelf. I can't even. I have to stop now.

The Cappuccino was decent, but the foam was far too aerated (like beaten egg whites). I got a sandwich (good) and they served it with a canned fruit cocktail. However, the peaches were brown, slimy, and rotten. They apologized, but didn't seem to understand the issue - aka: asked us if we wanted to replace it with more of the same fruit. I'm not sure how long canned fruit has to sit before it looks like this, but cutting fresh fruit seems like it would be a better option, although maybe slightly more expensive.

Definitely not the last nail in the coffin, and there are a lot of great attributes, but a disappointment nonetheless.
