Greeeaaaat place to get a smoothie. 👍 Definitely coming here on the hottest days. Coffee is not the strongest, so prepare for mostly milk with some coffee. Love the ambiance. I think it's weird that the one on 10th street has no pictures of the inside, so I'm adding them here. All the photos I see are from the mall building in Alamogordo. 🤷♂️

I Love MOD Coffee! My favorite coffee shops in Alamogordo! This is their second location . The atmosphere is unparalleled. This location even has a children's play area. The staff is so very friendly, fun and accommodating. They have a limited liquid sugar free selection compared to the Mall location, hopefully they expand soon. However they have a fabulous baked goods selection. The largest and most amazing iced lattes ever! I love the Joe's organic coffee they use, it's delicious! Overall this place is devine. A lot of bang for your buck. I'm curiouser and curiouser for more.

I went to Mad Coffee while I was visiting my family and meeting my niece. The experience was phenomenal. The staff were very friendly, greeted me when I arrived and chatted with me about the menu options. There were a lot of exciting choices and I went with a Mocha and a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The mocha was one of the best I ever had! The perfect amount of chocolate to compliment the espresso. The bagel, which is locally made, was perfect for the sandwich which had generous amounts of veggies and bacon.
The best part was that they had a space for kids to play while I visited with the grown ups! This is truly a special touch and shows how thoughtful the folks who run this establishment are. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in town and would recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for a great coffee spot.

Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Came in today for the first time today. We had the egg and bacon bagel with a chocolate chip frappe. The rest of the food menu looks delicious. There was a play area for the kiddos, which is a breath of fresh air for this town. 10/10 would recommend.

I'm so sad they had to move from the mall with their awesome mural wall, but this place is AWESOME! Top quality sourcing, excellent organic options, proper hand-tamped-style espresso, and all the sweets and smoothies. The dining area feels as comfortable as your own living room, and is filled with books (for adults and children), toys, and all sorts of seating options. This lady knows how to atmosphere!

My spot!!! Best chia latte is correct! I moved and couldn't find any that could compare! Had to make a visit and get me a nice warm cup of goodness! I love taking my toddler to play in their little section.

Coffee was delicious and it was easy to find. I loved the decor and theme of the place. The service wasn't good. When I entered the staff was in the back and no one came to greet me. I stood there for about 5 minutes before I left. When u came back there was as woman there who looked like she hated life at the counter. Didn't say anything to me for 2 minutes and when she did it was very to the point and unfriendly sounding. Coffee was wonderful but service bad.

Oh man, this place has the best coffee in town and I have tried them all. I also really love their bagels and the cool flavors they have week in and week out! Super friendly place too!

Not what it used to be (at other location). My coffee was luke warm. Atmosphere is uncomfortable. Coffee fixing table is terrible. No more sugar in the raw, the only creamer available is garbage powdered creamer. No prices on the menu, no coffee on the menu. And the older lady who chased away the helpful employee, to give me the creamer I had to ask for, had a look on her face that made me feel like an imposition. Well, maybe that's my assumption, but she certainly didn't do anything to make me feel welcome. And I got half n half...the whole reason I go to shops like this is because I like MILK in my coffee...R.I.P mad coffee, was once my fav
**Update: wonderful apology from the owner. Defended themselves and attacked my complaints. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?
Hard to believe your staff is always characteristically friendly with a hostile reply from the owner.
****And for the record, There were no prices on the menu when I went. There was no sugar in the raw when I went.
@** And what, nothing to say about serving room temp coffee?! Who wants to pay for warm coffee? Its mad! Your business IS coffee, you failed to provide it satisfactory and then attacked a customer who complained about.
What happens when we continue, as consumers, to support these business practices?

What a wonderful find!!
As a Kiwi not adjusting well to the generic fast food culture I felt like I was coming home when I walked in the Mad Coffee door. Paradise smoothie was just SO good. Muffins were delicious. Staff were friendly & helpful. Loved the Alice in Wonderland theme. We will definitely be returning 😊
