Rook Coffee

Love their cold brew!! Always buying a new roast to brew at home and they’re cold brew concentrate is really good. Only downside is this is NOT a sit down place. I wish it was since I’m always looking for new places to sit and work from.

Great taste of coffee! the only recommendation is to have some place to sit down would be nice 🙂

Happy National Coffee Day :) Love this place. I come here at least 4 days a week. I’m going to bring some Rook coffee at my next open house.

This has been on our list of coffeeshops to visit. Last week we happened to be in the area and we were finally able to visit. They have a variety of single origin coffees from which to choose from or their hot coffee (I believe it was just drip brew preparation, though it wouldn't surprise me if they brewed it via pour over or french press). I like how their single origin were listed according to their roast profile (light - medium - dark) which helps customers make a more informed decision. The barista / cashier were both polite and took initiative to explain their coffee selections. They also make their own line of cold brew concentrate as well as sell retail coffee. The coffee we drank there was delicious, brewed to perfection. I have also tried the cold brew concentrate and it is delicious. If you are ever in the area (they have several locations also) or have an urge to drive, I highly recommend this place.

Terrible service and bad attitude: I ordered two coffees and it took over 20 minutes. I received one and they forgot to make the other one. I asked twice how much longer it would take, because I had to pick up my son from his swim lesson, and the manager responded, “can’t you see we are busy? Do you want to come back here and make it yourself?” No apology. Instead a very rude remark. My advice if you don’t want to waste 20 minutes of your day to be treated like that. Don’t go here,

I stopped by this location the other day! It was about 10 minutes to close and I thought that I was too late and that they would start cleaning the place up to close. To my surprise, the girls that were working there let me in, took my order and made it to perfection. This not only proves that Rook has great tasting coffee, but that they care about their customers and have some of the best customer service! Great job on such a wonderful staff!

The coffee just tastes two burnt for my liking

Rook is always fantastic, however I will say that this is my least favorite Rook location. After ordering 2 coffees on the app, they have forgotten the second coffee 3 different times and the coffee just isn't as good as it is at other rooks. It sends to taste a bit under extracted and thin as compared to the Colt's Neck, Little Silver, and both Oakhurst locations.

One of best coffees in town. As well as this shop employees are very friendly. Customer service is their priority.

I live in Jackson and visit Freehold frequently. I always go to Rook and get one of the best coffees period. I love the Costa Rica. It's the best.
