I drove all the way from NY because I have been craving this coffee. I got here at 4:59 on and the attendant would not serve me. Even when I asked to buy some of the cold brew already prepared so that I can make it at home he said no. I told him I drove him all the way from NY and he still refused telling me they were closed. So, so upsetting!!

Best coffee in Monmouth County. Pricing is right for what you are getting. You are going to love every drop of coffee you get. Often times can be crowded due to smaller store, but it is worth the wait. All of their locations are amazing.

Have mixed feelings about Rook Coffee. On one side, they sell absolutely the best beans in the area. There ain't much competition, to begin with when we're talking about genuinely fresh roast and good quality coffee beans. Forget Starbucks and any of the big stores. It is simply impossible for them to offer freshly roasted coffee. That is why you see "Best used before" date on their packaging instead of an actual "roast" date. Amazon ain't much better. You'll have to go through a lot of trial and error before you find a seller you can actually trust. All of the above firmly places Rook Coffee into the position of a local roaster you can't afford to avoid if you expect to enjoy your morning cup of java. Unfortunately, however, Rook Coffee is moving toward the corporate way of doing things, instead of remaining local roasters with knowledgeable staff.

Came in to try the place for a nice coffee and to get some work done on my laptop.
To my surprise there was no seating here at all. It's just for getting drinks.
I tried the Sumatra dark coffee which for me was ok, but if I'm being honest, no more than that. Huge cup and too much water, creating what is basically just dark hot flavored water.
My first time at Rook coffee is unfortunately far from my expectation, especially as it seems locally popular.

Love the coffee. Happy the app works as well and can order ahead. It's far for us but we usually go on a Saturday for something to do since there isn't much any more. But worth the trip because of the great coffee

We love Rook coffee! We’re from Seattle, WA originally, so we know our coffee, and this is a place worth driving to for good coffee (we live roughly an hour away, and we make the trip every-so-often just for the coffee). I highly recommend it!

Superior coffee at a price. Rook coffee is very good (better than Starbucks, Dunkin and Wawa, in my opinion) but it is a little pricey. 1 regular hot coffee and 1 regular iced coffee was $7.00. More of a treat than a go to coffee shop but it is very good. They have nice merchandise at reasonable prices too.

For all the hype, I was expecting something different, maybe less flavors, more origins, but they did make me a decent cup of coffee. No complaints.
