Sugar, Salt & Malt Restaurant
Review of Sugar, Salt & Malt Restaurant
Sugar, Salt & Malt Restaurant:
Sugar, Salt & Malt Restaurant is a cozy and welcoming spot located in Baker, Nevada. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including pizza, pasta, quiche, and more. The menu is not extensive, but it has something for everyone. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.
The restaurant is a great option for those visiting Great Basin National Park, as it is one of the few dining options in the area. The restaurant has a decent beer selection and a full-service bar. The homemade cheesy bread is a must-try, and the Ragu over pasta is a popular dish among customers. The vegan menu items are also appreciated by many customers.
The breakfast options are limited, but the restaurant is a cute spot for breakfast in a town with basically no other options. However, some customers have expressed disappointment with the breakfast burrito. The dinner menu is more extensive and offers fine dining options in a place where one would not expect it. The 6oz Ribeye dinner is a customer favorite.
The prices are a bit high, but customers appreciate that the restaurant is one of the few options in the area. The restaurant has a small menu, but there is a little something for everyone. The decor is lovely, and the staff is accommodating. The restaurant is open for dinner from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm on certain nights.
If you are looking for a place to grab a bite to eat before the ascent up Great Basin National Park or just driving through, Sugar, Salt & Malt Restaurant is a perfect place to stop by.

Excellent coffee!! Had to go find the person that was on duty, but it was worth it ( they ran out of 2% milk also)ðŸ˜.
The person that was working was VERY friendly. For me , the cups were too small ( but I drink MASS quantities of coffee).

Do not try their food. We had pizza and it was terrible!! The worst pizza I have ever had!!! Don’t even get me started on the Cesar salad!! However the party I was with said that their apple pie cocktail was good.

Truly an oasis of good service and good taste on the door step of the Great Basin NP. I'm hoping this is still in business when we next visit this beautiful remote area!

Two CIA trained chefs from San Francisco in a town of 68 people. Need I say more?
Do not miss this place!

The restaurant was packed and they were very light staffed but they came with our food quick. And it was the best fish I ever had

Don't waste your time or money. $10 for a panini that was small and came with nothing else. Also took forever and wasn't good at all.

Great little shop, hope to see it stick around.

It was good. Alcoholic root beer float was a good time. Good vegetarian food options.
