I am definitely a new fan! They had multiple sugar-free syrups, the employees were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I loved the atmosphere.

I had a very good sugar-free hazelnut latte. Successfully resisted the gooey butter cake, but I did let myself enjoy the smells!

Their WiFi was open and didn't require some secret password. Coffee was delicious, no bitterness whatsoever.

Overall, very underwhelmed. Two stars only because the butter cake was decent. I would recommend any other coffee shop over this, even a chain like Starbucks.

The service was subpar, to say the least.

The worst part was the state of the restroom. The grout was disgusting, and has obviously never been cleaned. Toilet was nasty, sink was gross, and the trash can was overflowing.

Big yikes! Find elsewhere to go

I enjoy Park Avenue Coffee. My favor coffee that they offer is the Grog, and I get it with oat milk. This is a fantastic combination, and I recommend it. I have also had the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffee with oat milk. This is another good flavor. Their coffee definitely beats Starbucks.

As for their famed gooey butter cakes, I will say that they are solid! As a gooey butter cake and baked goods lover, I have certainly had better gooey butter cakes. The slices are a little thin for me, but that is my only true complaint. I prefer the various Schucks Bakery gooey butter cake flavors. I have had the Mom's Traditional Gooey Butter Cake, and I had the Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake for my birthday yesterday. I like red velvet, and I actually had a generous serving of red velvet cake from Schnucks at my birthday party at lunch as well. What a wonderfully unhealth day full of red velvet flavor! The Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cake slice had a nice sweetness, and the home-made cream cheese icing complemented it nicely. This ice had a nice sweetness. I will continue to compare cream cheese icings to the bad cream cheese icing that I had at Crumbl Cookies on their Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cookie, which was literally just plain, unsweetened cream cheese. Moreover, the Ghirardelli chocolate gooey butter crust was not overwhelming.

Finally, I have had their Cranberry Orange Muffin, which is also tasty.

One of the best damn cups of coffee I've ever had in my life came from this place. Staff was beyond helpful and friendly, and my first experience with gooey butter cake from St.Louis, served here, was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a great cup of coffee, some delicious things to snack on and a wonderful atmosphere... This is your place. Right across the corner is Lafayette Park, which serves as a wonderful opportunity to take a stroll with a fresh cup of coffee and really feel the spirit of st. Louis.

Best. Butter cake. Ever!

The frozen cold brew was also delicious. I also appreciate that it’s their only location, as far as I know, with free parking.

Came here to try Gooey butter cake, had a red velvet Gooey butter cake and a strawberry banana smoothie. Would say it was OK, nothing extraordinary

They make Gooey cake. Which if you haven't had (like myself) is kind of a mix between a cookie and a cake made only with butter. We tried 3 kinds of Gooey cake, the cookie dough was good, traditional was not to my liking but others liked it. The coffee is delicious and they had really good smoothies. Also it's in a neat little part of Lafayette Square which adds to the charm. If you like Gooey cake go here, if you don't, then it's a fine coffee shop if you just want to relax and enjoy a cup.

This is a pretty cozy place. They have no nonsense coffee and a seemingly sustainable business model. I'm excited to try this Saint Louis blend once I return home; hopefully it'll remind me of the city!

Great vibe and community. Best iced coffee in the city. Grab a coffee and take a walk around the neighborhood.
