Park Avenue Coffee - Lafayette Square

Gooey.Butter.Cake!! And the latte was delicious too. 😊

Their coffee is really good. No really; I purchased their coffee at the grocery store over at Field Foods and loved it. And then I was googling a nearby coffee shop by my work and I discovered them right on the corner of Lafayette Square. I got a vanilla latte. It's very tempting to sneak by here and grab a drink in the morning.

I go there almost weekly. The prices are fair, the staff is ALWAYS friendly and in a genuine way.

One of my favorite places to visit. This small coffee shop has amazing staff and some of the best smoothies around (its coffee is pretty good too). It's a great spot to meet up with someone, or start your day on the right foot.

I had the great pleasure of sampling some of Park's gooey butter cakes at Yelp's Summer Stunner a couple weeks ago! I was super excited to see them there as I had recently added them to my to-do list when I discovered that they offered 73 varieties of gooey butter!!! At Yelp's event they were offering three flavors: Original, Double Chocolate and Key Lime. Of course the Original was nice. But chocolate is always my favorite! Although I have to say, the Key Lime was pretty awesome as well - and I don't usually go for Key Lime! I can't tell you how many times I went back to this table for more...

Then, the other night out at the Chocolate Bar, I realized that this place was a couple doors down! How had I never noticed it before?!? My husband chose the turtle gooey butter and was a huge fan! This place also offers some delicious drink options to go with your treat. One of us chose the cold brew mocha coffee and another the steamed with with cinnamon. Everyone was very happy with the choices!

I can't wait to visit again! Hopefully on a day when I can buy a large assortment of flavors to share for a gathering!

Walking into Park Avenue Coffee is like arriving back at home. It's always a great cup of coffee with limited seating in the winter. When the weather is warmer I enjoy sitting in the back patio.

Fantastic fresh roasted coffee!

Very little seating. The strawberry/banana smoothie was tan in color and had zero strawberry flavor. When I questioned this they just repeated what it was, apparently they are unfamiliar with what a strawberry is. Would not go back.

Wow great coffee. We were out of town and in need of coffee. Googled and found this gem. The turtle mocha was amazing. Customer service was great ☺️. Even got the turtle treat the second day.

All I could say is that I started appreciating coffee after going to this place. Not a big fan of coffee in general, but the Caramel Macchiato that I've always gotten here, does have that sweet taste and subtle hint of wake-up shot in one. From doing some light work at the place to just walking around the park that's nearby. Either focussing or just relaxing, this spot is perfect.
