Love going here, but some of the people that work here are not the friendliest. Very "I'm too cool of a hipster to be nice" vibe. 🙄

We love the service. The family loves it. It's a 25 mile drive for us but it is worth it. The kids stopped by through high school and college to study. (2 left in college). My wife and I still go - I study my computer PDFs and my wife reads her novels.

Great gooey cakes and the "rice crispy cube" was an interesting idea, but.... The service was trash! My family and I stood there at the counter (where no one was) for like 5 minutes. It wasn't until one of the CUSTOMERS SITTING DOWN got up out of his chair and got the cashier. The cashier mummbled so much we had to ask him to repeat every single thing he said.

The ooey gooey butter cake was so good here. I'm not from St. Louis, so this was my first time trying it, and I was not disappointed! I will definitely come back here next time I visit the city.

The best coffee and service in town! Love the gooey butter cake as well.

What a great place to study! What a great place for a casual date! What a great patio! I first scoped out Park Ave in December and found the interior a cozy place to study; the wifi flows freely and outlets abound. Seating is sparse, but I've never had a problem finding some bench. Fast forward five months to late spring. I remember well the day when I discovered the beautiful, shaded patio outside. It's like being in someone's private garden. It's peaceful, spacious, and its compliment of tables make studying (even bar exam studying) a positive experience.

I love this place. I went on NextDoor to get recommendations for where to get the best GBC to take to a friend from St. Louis who has relocated to Trooper, PA. She misses the flavors of StL. I wanted to bring her this unique St. Louis treat. She and her PA quests loved it. Her caterer's husband fell in love with it. My friend and her hubby will be in St. Louis this week. They are having a get together in their suite at the Chase. I asked her to pick two flavors to bring. She chose three traditional, peach, and Key Lime. She said she'd be interested in which two I choose. I plan on surprising her. I ordered ALL THREE! She's gonna be so surprised and pleased. It really is true, it is more blessed to give than to receive.

Lattes always taste different. The staff is often distracted. The last time I went, they mixed up orders on me, giving my small mocha to someone who had a medium skim latte, then they just added chocolate to the skim latte like that is how you make lattes, with no foam. Um no, I had them remake it.. part of their problem is that they do not always ask what kind of milk when making lattes and their is a lot of miscommunication btwn staff, simply because they are gossiping and complaining about co workers. I expected more from a cafe in such a nice area. Their chain in downtown is run much more smoothly.

Amazing coffee, hand crafted with artistry, give it a try and see what you think. Great cafe mocha as well as when the weather is warmer try it iced with almond milk and blended!

Close to Lafayette Park and usually ample parking, good coffee with a decent amount of variety, and one of the few coffee shops in the area I've found with padded seating for those who want to enjoy sitting in the venue to sip coffee and read, rather than just meeting at a cafe table or grab coffee and go.
