Park Ave Coffee is our neighborhood coffee spot. What could be more romantic than our engagement happening at a place we call home. My husband and I are not from STL and we wanted our guests to taste the greatness of Gooey Butter Cake. Dale was great at coordinating getting the gooey cakes and of course coffee to our reception venue. We got the Traditional, Red Velvet, Triple Chocolate, and Turtle. Our guests loved them!

I love this place, my go to is the mighty green smoothie. So delicious! The staff are friendly and keep the shop spotless. My daughter loves their iced coffee as well as the smoothies.

Quaint coffee shop. A bit tiny, but cozy. Great staff and good coffee. I didn't have anything to eat, but service was fast and the place was quiet enough to work without earbuds in.
Hard to say how this place could stand out from the rest of the coffee shops in the area. Given the location, I understand why the pricing seemed a tad higher than expected. Overall, worth a visit and sit!

Cute little place. The service was really good and fast. The cappuccino muffin was excellent as well. The drinks weren’t great but they were still good.

Nice and cozy little place in the pretty neighborhood. The backyard is somewhere you’ll want to sit when weather permitted. Coffee is on the lighter side and not to my liking but worth a visit to just try the butter cake.

This place was so hyped on YouTube, ‘must try the butter cakes @Park Avenue Coffee’ and while they weren’t bad the ones @Russels on Maickland were a lot bigger and better.

Butter cake time. The pumpkin was perfect. The coffee was fine.

Not every coffee shop has "conscientious" baristas, but this one does. They do a great job of focusing on customer service and maintaining hygienic protocols during the pandemic. Their drinks taste fine, the pastries are homespun and not typical "coffee shop" fare, and the prices are average for the industry. What sets this shop apart is how careful and serious the baristas are about getting everything right. Also, it's locally owned, so all profits go right back in to the neighborhood.

This place has great coffee but their gooey buttercake is the best in St. Louis, MO.
Even though they have great products Park Avenue Coffee has great people that seem to love their jobs. That makes the atmosphere like being at home around the fireplace.
Try this location if you can. It reminds you of driving down the street in small town America.

Good coffee served in cardboard cups. I had the dark roast which I believe was pre-brewed but it was just as good or better than any chain coffee. The sitting area was cozy with several tables and a few lounge chairs with coffee tables around. The carrot cake muffin was fantastic but definitely not something I want to eat too often though I may want to. There is a decent amount of foot traffic and the surrounding area has a lot of high end boutique type shops and salons. I definitely want to re-visit the area in the day and check out the nearby Lafayette park.
