I need to preface with the fact that I don't drink coffee. So I'm mostly commenting on secure and tea products. Both were wonderful. We had excellent service. I even got help picking out coffee for a friend because I have no idea what is good.
The London fog I had they're was delicious. I would recommend everyone try it.

I have heard great things about the croissants here, so we tried to stop in on Saturday morning - mistake! It was so crowded we drove around the complex twice to find a parking spot, and when we got inside finally, there was nowhere to sit! However, that does speak well of the ambiance and popularity of the place. We ordered several items: croissants, an almond bear claw, and a 'rebel within' which is a muffin with an egg baked inside. The croissants looked quite dark on the outside, almost burnt, but they didn't taste like that. They were delicious, flaky, and buttery. The almond bear claw was so delicious with a generous filling of almond paste baked in. And the 'rebel within' had a perfect egg inside, but was disappointingly small for the price, and the sausage was hard to taste.

This place has the best coffee we have been able to find in the Midwest. As New Zealanders this is the closest thing to the European style coffee we get at home. The flat whites are delicious. The milk especially is silky smooth! Thanks for having us.

Visiting from Pennsylvania for just the weekend, I decided to try this place out. It's okay, but too pricey. I got a coffee and a croissant. I think it would be better if you didn't have to ask for cream, but it is what it is. The coffee was bitter and felt like there were too many competing flavors. The croissants were a bit greasier than I would like, and the taste was lacking. The service was good, but if I lived in St Louis, I don't know if I'd give it a second chance.

I've been coming to Comet Coffee for almost a year and have made it a large part of my weekly routines. The shop its self is somewhat small, but stylishly decorated and clean. The employees have always been kind to me, well-informed, and enthusiastic. They care about the quality they provide and honestly seek feedback.
On to the coffee, I am a latte and cappuccino drinker and have been impressed and satisfied by my daily cuppas here. It's important to note that the coffee is not going to be Starbucks fast, as the espresso is ground to order for freshest taste and the regular coffees are made with the pour-over method and not a drip-coffee machine; I do mention these to say that it's worth the time. The espresso is coupled perfectly with the milk and fresh vanilla syrup in the lattes and the foam on the hot milk drinks are smooth.
Additionally, the bakery items are great too. Certainly recommend the quiches and/or the walnut, goat cheese, pear scone.

What a wonderful neighborhood coffee shop. The staff is nice, intelligent and really knows their product and craft. The waft of buttery croissants is enticing. I only wish they opened before 7 as my visit for work made it difficult to go but for one day.

My favorite coffee shop in town! It's got the best bean selection, coffee brewing methods ie. Pourover, and staff. They offer you a different coffee if you don't happen to like the one you ordered. Can be expensive but the quality is there. They carry sweet bloom and multiple other roasters!

Fantastic customer service and attention. Great selection of coffee from different roasters, excellent pastries, knowledge staff. Definitely recommend. Conveniently located right off the freeway for people passing through St Louis. More selection than Sump Coffee, too.

Cute place to go for coffee, the service is ALWAYS GREAT and the honey latte is one of the best coffee drinks I have had. And of course you cannot visit without having a croissant or chocolate croissant.

I love comet! Reasonably quiet coffee house. They rotate new coffee for purchase. Get the chocolate chip cookie, you won't be disappointed. Always friendly staff give really good recommendations. Tea is delicious as well.
