Don't expect either a quick or typical cup of coffee here, everything is made to order. A little expensive because of this--and the waits can exceed 10 minutes--but if you have time to relax and enjoy some great coffee, take the opportunity to stop here.
Really good pastries and cookies, and a generally buzzing but quiet place to sit among a younger crowd of work-at-the-coffee-shoppers.

They have a great selection of coffee from many different roasters. The pour over was excellent. My latte was fair.
I would definitely recommend grabbing a pastry!

I really couldn't select any appropriate answer because I wasn't even waited on after standing there for nearly 5 minutes at the counter. I realized they have all the customers they need in their content with there's status. I'd heard from a good friend who knows I like blueberry muffins that I should try the ones that Comet Coffee. I went and excited to purchase one but after standing there unnoticed easily 3 to 5 minutes the cashiers seemed engaged in such leisurely and entertaining conversations with the customers in front of them who seem like maybe regulars that I wasn't even noticed or acknowledged and I finally felt offended by it and left. I consider myself a friendly polite and cordial person and felt I just wasn't worth spending the $350 on a blueberry muffin if I wasn't even going to be acknowledged as a customer.

Loved the flat white and the taste as good as it looks croissant. Setting is a bit of a deterrent as located right next to freeway traffic and parking is difficult. Plenty of plugin areas and good WiFi on my laptop, but could not get it to connect my iPhone after many attempts. Staff is super friendly and helpful and I got a kick out of watching them do the pour over method over and over...

If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would. Comet is not only the best coffee spot in and around St. Louis, but one of the best ones I have ever come across. They consistently have the best offering of coffee beans from around the world, take the time and care to hand pour a fantastically crafted coffee, and have the very best blueberry muffins you will find💙🙌

I really like the coffee! Of course, the pastry is nice, too. The darker, flakey pastry tastes great! It's all very well baked and full of flavor.

I love this place.
It’s right across Forest Park nestled in a multipurpose building.
I love the staff. The setting is elegant and comfortable.
They absolutely have the best croissants and pastries in saint louis. I’m French and I know croissants. This the real thing!
The WiFi, coffee, teas are all good.

The baked goods were delicious. And the cappuccino with almond milk was great too!

Had a patient bring me a croissant one morning from here. Omg it's as if I've never had a croissant before. It was amazing

I always fill up on my whole bean supply from here. They make a great latte, and their micro bakery items are tasty too. Hard to find places that do coffee and food well 🔥
