If you want some kindness served with your delicious cup of coffee, comet is the place.
I've just gotten used to snobby baristas, but they don't have those here. I love hanging out here, great people, great energy, and if you eat gluten, try the croissants.

Great quiche and pastries, but they go fast. Great variety of coffees served drip filter style in small pots (~2 cups). Pricey, but delicious. They make the most of a small bland commercial space. Out of the way but worth the trip.

Mark, Zack, Jules, Hannah and Steph provide excellent customer service. Even my toddler loves it at Comet. The house-made pastries are delicious. I love when we arrive right when the chocolate croissants or blueberry muffins are being pulled from the oven.
Oh - and the coffee isn't too bad, either. Just kidding - it's fantastic. The whole staff is well-versed on their unique and diverse coffee selections. I recommend a traditional cappuccino made with one of the rotating espresso offerings.
If you get a chance, take one of the classes offered in the evenings. Zack spent nearly two hours discussing espresso with a few of us. These people are passionate and enthusiastic about coffee - without pretension - and it shows in every little thing they do.

Best Kyoto-style cold brew coffee.
An Honduras cold brew that will blow your caffeine socks off. It was such a treat to get my first cold brew coffee since the shutdown! Also, try their blueberry streusel muffin..heaven!

Amazing baked goods, really good coffee, friendly staff. Tight space, usually pretty crowded during peak times. Not a great place to study. Good place to grab coffee with a friend. They serve coffee in little pots so you can linger over your coffee for a while.

Great coffee. Great space. If you need to get out of the office and get some light work done this is the place to do it. There is not a lot of noise for the amount of foot traffic.
Lots of seating space and plenty of power outlets. Free wifi.
I recommend getting a croissant with the Ecuadorian coffee!

I really enjoyed the space. The people were friendly. The two pour overs I got here were great. It was everything I was looking for in a coffee shop in a new town.

Not particularly impressed with any of it. The folks were nice but the drinks lagged. The wife and I stopped in and had a flat white, latte, and a chocolate cookie. Her drink was average, mine (latte) tasted more of warm milk than coffee, and the cookie was much to salty. We'll be exploring other stores and doubt we'll return.

Great coffee spot! They are always stocked with third wave coffees from roasters all around the country!

The only complaint that I have about comet is that the dining area should be bigger. The pastries are awesome and the coffee is fantastic. It isn't as cozy as many coffee shops but they absolutely nail the products that you can get. Try the goat cheese scone, bacon bun, and rebel within. Hands down the best blueberry muffin that one can eat too! Be aware that getting drip coffee the way they make it will take some extra time. Probably not the place to go if you want to rush.
