Neat local place, great coffee. I really appreciated the hometown pride aspect of the shop. As of this review, they were in the process of renovating the back of the shop and opening a bar of some kind. I don't live in KC, so I won't get to experience it but I'm sure it'll keep the same organic/local vibe.

Coffee was great and the staff was awesome! It was nice to be close to a coffee shop that wasn't a chain! Everything tasted the way I expected it to and will make a stop there when I'm back on the KC area.

Closed and locked up during posted business hours. Rough way to start the day

The mocha is sweeter than I typically like but still very good. They've got a lot of interesting t-shirts coffee mugs and other stickers that are KC related for purchase also.

I was very disappointed in the house coffee, weak and poor flavor, and lukewarm. I also think it's overpriced, especially with a Starbucks less than a block away. Pumpkin cream cheese muffin was pretty good, but again it was a little overpriced. a 16oz coffee and a medium sized muffin should not cost 8 dollars and change

This used to be my favorite coffee shop downtown, but my last experience was horrible and i will not be going back. I ordered ahead using the app and ordered a hot matcha latte with honey and an iced latte with vanilla and honey. When i got there, my drinks “were ready” but the matcha latte was a regular latte and the iced latte was just an iced coffee and had the lavender honey flavor in it. This is not what i ordered at all. When i said something to the barista, he insisted that matcha was coffee and that the lavender honey was paired and they could not put regular honey in my drink even though i just saw him put it in the matcha. The barista was condescending and would not remake my latte. I have gotten these same drinks plenty of times and they have done it right, so this guy was clearly insisting he was right about things he knew nothing about. Very disappointing.

We all loved the pistachio iced coffee

Solid barista skills, decent beans, and decadent pastries... What more could you want to get your day started. Their take on the poptart is everything you wish it had been in your childhood.

I work downtown and we're always looking for someplace other than Starbucks to meet and get coffee. But the setup just isn't friendly. First of all - you should build refills into the price of a regular coffee, and let people refill it themselves. Charging $1 per refill PLUS the $3.50 we already spent on 1 8-oz. cup is a bit rich. When we went back up to get a refill, not only is it $1 each, but the Half and Half disappeared, and all the spoons were dirty. I appreciate not using disposable spoons, but maybe make sure there are enough? Plus, the only sugar was a syrup, which might be OK for some but what if someone just wants plain sugar? And when we went to leave, there wasn't a clear place to put our dirty mugs. Please consider making some changes for people who want to meet and drink coffee at this location.

Super chill coffee spot! Great place to post up and work. The bearded bro knows my order as soon as I walk through the door :) Cool selection of KC themed goods too
