This place gets BUSY! They respectfully allowed 10 people in at a time. The coffees were good. The kids' hot chocolates could have been a lot warmer.

Good chai, a little expensive of a place but great view and nice ambiance- always a line because it’s popular! Best blueberry muffin! Great mocha only mistake was saying small which was 8 oz instead of 12, now I know

Excellent service! I showed up with my dog, and after I ordered inside they brought my drinks out to me so I would have to leave my dog outside again.

Hands down the best coffee along the North Shore! The confections have been mostly sold out all three times I've stopped in. I hope to get their early enough some day to try breakfast goodies. Homey atmosphere, this is clearly a favorite place for the locals to congregate.

Coffee was quite good! Expect a long line if you go during popular hours. We went twice and unfortunately, their cups leaked both times. Friendly service though & the baked goods were yummy!

Java Moose is the perfect place to get coffee and breakfast foods. I have visited twice in one day :) The staff is kind and fun and the drinks are the best. This is a “must see” for anyone visiting Grand Marais!

Love this place! You can get quality coffee that is comparable to Star Bucks and Caribou Coffee at Java Moose, while also enjoying small town charm and good service! They also have lovely views of the bay and lake from their front deck where one can sit and sip.

Solid coffee place in Grand Marais. Tasty, distinctly North Woods specials, breakfast sandwiches, and a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was very friendly, and it was clear that it is a local favorite (lots of first-name calling).
Also, small note: it has medium roast coffee. That probably sounds strange to point out, but this is some actual medium roast. Not dark roast that's been labeled medium nor light roast with a tinge more color to it. I know it probably sounds a little pretentious to make such distinction, but still. Appreciated.
