No gluten free breakfast options other than a trail bar, but gluten free beverages. Super long wait this morning, 25 minutes, but beautiful day to wait outside. Cute logo items like sweatshirts, tshirts, coffee beans and mugs. Variety of options for those of us who like the Starbucks and Caribou menu. Great location & view of lake is Spectacular. Indoor and outdoor options & they have a bonus pop-up shop by the lake just north of the shop.

Was recommended to try this place out and glad I did! The BWCA lattes was fun and very tasty! I don’t normally like butterscotch but this was subtle. If I’m ever back in the area, this will be a must stop. Also close to the lake for a nice spot to drink :)

I came here 2 mornings while on vacation to do some computer work with internet and it was great. Cappuccino and lattes were delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches. It is a busy place and had to share table, but glad they had a small room separate from the main area. Most people seemed to order to go, but I worked for an hour and was welcomed and not rushed by staff even if they were busy.

Stopped in for a peach palisade and a turkey breakfast sandwich. Both were incredible! The sandwich was extremely tender and fresh, and the drink was exactly as refreshing as the name implies. The decor was great and the employees were quick and friendly.

A cute little place in Grand Marais. Very busy, but it was ok since we used the time in the line to pick out which drinks to order. They have so much options and our drinks came out so good. They have chairs inside and outside the store, and a wall full of merch that you can buy. Overall, a lovely cafe. Would come back again!

A couple of weeks ago our fishing group stopped for lunch. Sandwiches and coffee were fresh made and fantastic. Not a fast food place that just wants to serve quick. Quality food with a group of super friendly young ladies making everything as ordered. We had the opportunity to meet and chat with Annie the owner. It was a chance to relax for lunch as we still had hours to go to our fly-in outpost. We were coming from SPAMtown USA. My buddies couldn't believe that a town of 1500 population could be busy with 10,000 tourists enjoying the North Shore and Lake Superior.
Java Moose is a must stop for anyone traveling to or through Grand Marais to get that smell of fantastic fresh coffee.

One of my favorite coffee shops! I have never had a bad drink here. The people are friendly and they have great service. My personal favorite is the maple latte with oat milk. This is a must-stop in Grand Marais!

This is a great coffee shop in Grand Marais and the staff were very nice and helpful in getting me exactly what I wanted, even though it wants on the menu. I really appreciated their earnest effort!!!
Its located right in the heart of downtown Grand Marais and they have a great patio for outdoor seating. Currently the inside is closed for seating as is the bathroom.

I enjoyed the coffee that I had here. I had the dark side mocha.

I always look forward to an early morning iced mocha and a walk down to the harbor!! I've had many friendly conversations with the locals while waiting for my drinks. Love the ambiance of the shop.
