Awesome place to chill in the morning good muffins and great coffees

This place is the absolute cutest. It’s right on the water and decorated so quaintly. They have small artsy items, cards, and small pots for sale in addition to the coffee and light food. There’s cold brew too. Wish they had a bigger carafe of half and half rather than just those tiny packets. Definitely go if you’re on the island!

Patio is dog friendly. Amazing food & drinks. Right on the water, with great views. Great service. Wish I could do 10 stars!

What a gem! Sorta hidden along the water, but great coffee, avocado toast and smoothies! This is the real deal!

Perfect location, right on the water. Artsy, cheerful, uplifting! Coffee, smoothies, sandwiches. Great place to start the day on the Island.

One of the charms of this place is that it doubles as a classroom for art lessons for kids. Art materials everywhere, as well as ever changing art work on display.

Out the window you can see the lighthouse, Bois Blanc, and the boats and boaters coming and going. Charm in excess, bustling and relaxed at the same time.

Breathtaking views. One of the world’s great coffee shops.

Watercolor Cafe is a new business located in the BEST spot on the island. Three walls of windows right on the harbor gives it lots of light. The decor is relaxing and inspiring all at once. The food is healthy and tasty. Stop by for coffee and a sandwich and come back at night for an art class with friends. A genius reinvention of this tucked away venue that Islanders have enjoyed for years. It is a Mackinac “must do”.

The food was great. I really liked the different food options. I got to choose from items you do not find in any restaurant.

I wish I could say I loved this place, I was really looking forward to visiting. I brought my entire family to the cafe on Labor Day weekend. The cafe was nearly empty, and the young lady checking us out was incredibly unfriendly. She wouldn’t look at us, didn’t say hi, no thank you or anything. She was just gave off a very rude vibe. Maybe we caught the cafe on a bad weekend... but they weren’t busy. Unkind staff can totally kill a good experience.

We have had drinks and such more than once, but this time we tried a painting class. Kate did a great job. She was sweet and helpful and we had so much fun! Highly recommend!

Easily the best breakfast in town. Loved the avocado toast, avocado egg wrap, and the PB smoothie power bowl. It’s real food! Helps to balance out all the fudge and ice cream.
