My top place for breakfast in the morning. It's been around for years and me and my father used to go here every weekend. The letter B is my favorite meal I always get this one. The staff is great and nice never any issues. They even have a big fish tank for the kids to look at while we eat.

Nice place, comfortable setting. I used to visit here often with my dad who was a Kalamazoo city police officer and everyone who worked there at the time knew my dad. I visited here with a friend this past summer still pretty much the same as when I was younger. Over all good place.

I need to clear something up my wife made a review here that I had her remove because of misinterpretation, her review was not a reflection of her feelings about the restaurant it was that of a customer . That being said poor Richards is a great place for family and friends the servers are amazing the cooks are very good and the bus service is prompt this establishment would make a great stop for everyone. And while you are here not forget to check out the fish tank and try to find the eel. So weather you're out running errands, or just hungry and want great food for low cost swing on in to my favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo "POOR RICHARDS CAFE!!!!!!!!

Food was not that good. My mom got the biscuits and gravy and they were very bland no taste to them. Not enough sausage in it. And the gravy was luke warm and the biscuits were not good.

Absolutely delicious their grits are amazing! A lot of other good food here too. A delicious local Diner that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Good place to go with family and pretty cheap too and did I say that the food is delicious?

Amazing food! I got a burger and my fiancé got chicken tenders. Service was amazing. They filled our drinks as we went to pay I was truly blown away. (Currently sitting in my car outside the restaurant) AMAZING FOOD AMAZING PRICE and AMAZING SERVICE!
