Popped in here on a recent visit to the area and almost walked out the door. There were about 3 couples in front of me and took a long time to place an order! I was getting grouchy but glad I stayed. The barista was pleasant and I ordered the
Bulletproof! It was delish! The velvety- ness of butter and hint of sweet from the coconut oil totally melted my grouchies away and all was right in the world again! Once I hit the road I was wishing I had ordered the largest size! Yum!

We love your company and have watched you grow from your little store front on Lake St. Our family frequents your shop in Glen Arbor now and we appreciate the coffee, pastries and gifts - not to mention the free wi-fi. But, your bathroom is bad! I know it gets a lot of use, especially in the winter when the public restrooms may not be open(?) but on a recent stop it was like a really yucky gas station.
We want all the parts of your shop to reflect how great you are.

Yummy coffee! Took some home with me for family to try. The coffee shop is cute and has very friendly staff. There is no venue local merchandise and store merchandise. The staff seals bags of fresh coffee and the cafe has different kinds of drinks.

The coffee is great.
The service was not so great.
I gave a $20+ tip and still waited behind five orders placed after mine...& a personal conversation w/a regular. I didn’t even receive a thank you.
Wish I would’ve ordered online and jus paid shipping instead. Disappointed.

Princess Mocha with an extra shot. Cant go wrong, hot or iced. This is a must stop for our family on our annual summer vacation trip up to the area. The shop is small inside, so, go early, or plan to get your beverage togo. The staff is quick and gets your order out in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!

Rolled through town and stopped for coffee at Leelanau Coffee Roasting. Great coffee but it took almost 15 min for a cup of regular coffee. Not sure why. Maybe I’m missing something, but it just didn’t feel relaxing.

I had high hopes for this place as I always make sure to stop into any coffee place that labels themselves as a roasting company. Unfortunately i walked into a generic cafe front with your standard pick of flavored, decaf and dark roast coffees. Although, the coffee appears to be brewed in a french press which is a plus.

If you are a casual coffee lover looking for a daily cup this place will be fantastic! For the hardcore coffee lover looking for a roaster serving 3rd wave coffee in manual methods I would skip this.

pastries had no pricing ($$$$$) nor labeling, & he was getting hissy at me for not being able to name them correctly. They are also not crispy & flaky, but rather soaked & greasy.

If you find yourself in the middle of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, and you need a cup of coffee, this is where you should go.

The business model seems based about quantity over quality, as they personally roast almost 100 varieties of coffee, and the ones I tried were not particularly noteworthy.

You might have a totally different experience if you're into flavored coffee, as when I was there, only two of the six air pots contained traditional coffee.
