I give this a 2 stars because their coffee tastes consistently horrible. Maybe they roast the beans too much? Just tastes charred. The Italian soda and service was good, though!

I liked the coffee I had as well as the crissont. They have almond and coconut milk substitutes.
Edit: We went again the morning of our departure and they were open bright and early which is awesome for an independent place! The first time around I hadn't noticed the bakery items they had for sale from the company "Third coast" which carries gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, vegan bakery items! I grabbed a couple of those including the GoGo! Energy Bites and the donuts which we're both absolutely delicious! I could not be more satisfied with my experience at Leelanau coffee roasters! As always the coffee was great! They also prepare your items in a very timely manner which is a plus! I wish we had a coffee place like this back where I live!

Came here for coffee and there were about 15 old people standing around talking blocking off the parking. There’s no drive thru.

Came here on my first trip to Sleeping Bear 2 years earlier, and loved it so much that I had to make the trip to this coffee shop again. Bought coffee beans plus a couple of fresh cups of coffee both times. Was also pleasantly surprised during my recent trip to see they sold Sleeping Bear honey and fresh sandwiches as well. Easy parking on the side of the store.

The apple cinnamon muffins were delicious. However, faster service would be appreciated and most importantly, better-tasting coffee is expected. My Sumatra coffee was thick as sludge with heavy sediment on the bottom of the cup. Too bad I didn't realize this until after I drove away.

We visited this establishment because of past exceptional experiences with their coffee blends. My wife and I prefer medium roasted blends and Leelanau Coffee Roasters gives us a broad choice to take home and enjoy. A yearly vacation stop provides us with excellent home coffee for a few months.

Always delicious coffee, always spend a fortune on getting multiple pounds of ground coffee to take home with us. Disappointed they didn't have blueberry this time around. But otherwise excellent coffee, the best in Michigan!

I did not have any food so can not attest to that but otherwise great service and friendly staff. The sizes run quite small, the large is closer to a smaller medium at other coffee shops but is very good.

They make a dang good coffee and have been here since 1993!

Decided to stop for a quick bite and some coffee before exploring the town. We’re seated rather quick and then waited 15 minutes for our coffee, 20 more minutes for our breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy and my husband had eggs and toast. The sausage gravy just had links cut up and was very bland. Very disappointed, because we had heard good things. And it is not inexpensive either! Won’t be back
