Good coffee, but not exactly the best coffee. It's 100% the best in the region. Drip options often taste a bit burnt (probs because it's mostly dark roast).
Espresso is good.
There are plenty of drink options and the bathroom is clean.
As of Aug 2022, the staff was very nice.
WiFi is fast enough for uploading trip photos.
Stopping in every summer is my tradition

I was third in line, and it was a very long wait. My latte tasted slightly burnt as well. I realize the person behind the counter was alone on a Monday morning, however, I noticed she wasn't really focusing on working on one order at a time, and that would have reduced wait time all together.

Long line moved quickly. Ordered a coffee; self serve. Was asked for a tip. For self serve coffee. Self serve coffee was empty. I pointed it out and they started to brew a new pot. 5 minutes later I wondered if I needed to press the French press and pour it myself into the self-serve pot. I eventually gave up and left. Get my beans shipped when not in town, home stocked here as well but still a need to go get a cuppa. Thank you for allowing me to still get an occasional bulletproof coffee! Also a great selection of shirts this year!!! Love LCR Co ❤️

My family and I visited after a stay in Traverse City. The owner was very friendly and nice to talk with. We had coffee and some breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was very good, very hot and obviously fresh. The sandwiches were good but we definitely missed out on the fresh pastries that were on display. They have a nice store with unique items and small clean dining area that the locals take advantage of. We will certainly stop in next time we're in the area.

It was delicious! We had iced coffee and breakfast sandwiches and like all coffee shops, it was pretty overpriced! Still yummy though!

They used to have a sign saying “Best Mocha in the State” out front. I had a very decent hot mocha a few years ago. Now the sign is gone and my iced mocha the other day was a 4/10. Bring back the sign, bring back the taste.

Sorry to be able to only give one star, but the coffee has an overpowering smoky flavor. The drip coffee I got was not enjoyable and the iced latte my wife got was bafflingly undrinkable. Honestly had a cigarette ash flavor. Strange.

I've never been so confused about coffee in my entire life!!! It was completely overwhelming! There's not a single bit of instruction on what, how or where to actually get coffee!!! I ordered 2 large chocolate cherry coffees and got 2 large EMPTY CUPS!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSE TO DO WHIT EMPTY CUPS????

I told the woman at the counter that I had zero idea of what or how to get coffee and she reinforced that with EMPTY CUPS!!! I gave one star because there's not a way to give zero stars!!!!!

Would I recommend this place?

If you want empty cups then this is the place to go. But if you want coffee, definitely do NOT go here!!!

Several years ago my daughter and I vacationed in northern Michigan. This shop was a great pleasure and treasure. I got on their email list and love getting the local updates from the area and occasionally will order coffee. We hope to go up their again someday!
