Owl Eye Coffee Roasters

I recently visited Owl Eye Coffee Roasters and was super impressed by the warm greeting first thing walking in the door! I had tried their coffee before but this was my first time at their store. I loved the coffee the first time I tried it and that’s why I was back for more! They are very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions! I would highly recommend trying Owl Eye Coffee!

Visiting Owl Eye Coffee Roasters in Cadillac was one the highlights of our Michigan vacation. Aaron, the owner, has studied abroad to learn all the complicated techniques of roasting coffee beans from all over the world. He and his wife, Jin, took the time to have us smell different varieties of coffee and helped us choose one that we loved, the Colombia Huila (tangy fruit & rich cocoa flavor with toffee, caramel and sugarcane juice). Aaron prepared our coffee beans to the perfect grind for use in our French press at home. The coffee was so smooth and delicious…heavenly…a major step above what we were drinking at home.

I love their passion for coffee and vision for next steps for their shop. The Owl Eye logo is adorable, so I just had to buy a mug to help me remember my great visit there. We were also thrilled to read that they can ship their fancy coffee to us in Ohio. On their package it says, “Your Source for a Higher Standard of Coffee”…so true. You won’t be disappointed!

There is nothing like a hot cup of coffee brewed from fresh roasted coffee beans! Owl Eye Coffee Roasters has a roast for everyone! The smell is amazing and the taste is delicious. I am so happy to have good, fresh coffee each morning. I prefer med-dark to dark roasts. I have tried five different roasts so far, and have loved them all! My favorites are the Bali and Opaque roasts. They have that full bodied coffee flavor, but are smooth and don’t have that bitterness that can come with a poor dark roast. Owl Eye Roasters has found a loyal customer in me. Now that I know what “good coffee” is, there’s no going back. And by the way...it’s not just good, it’s excellent!!

Fresh, quality and unique beans. Very easy to drink in a variety brewing methods. Extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to suit your every coffee desire! Owl Eye Coffee is the best quality at a very fair price! Highly recommend to all!

Not only is the coffee wonderful, the owners are super awesome and make for an enjoyable experience! The owners are very knowledgeable about coffee and make you feel welcome! Yes, their coffee can be bought elsewhere in town, but the experience of going into the actual Owl Eye shop is worth the trip! I cannot start my day without their product!

Owl Eye Coffee Roasters provides an incredibly unique coffee experience. There is nothing more cozy than a cup of coffee made from freshly roasted beans. I have tried several different roasts from Owl Eye and each delivers a different combination of flavors. The owner is very knowledgeable about his business and passion and it is obvious that he strives to provide the best quality product throughout the entire roasting process. 10/10 would recommend.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful place. They have a quality product. Enjoyed our visit learning about the coffee and their relationship with the source of the coffee beans.

You can tell the owner’s passion and love towards coffee when you meet him. His experience as coffee roaster has amazing behind story as well as you get to know him. And each coffee beans have different flavor and aroma that are so so good. You won’t be disappointed.! Either you live in Cadillac or not, it is a must visit shop.!

What a wonderful little place to get a smooth cup of coffee. I went in there today to get a couple of Christmas presents for my family and a treat for myself. Moments after I walked in I was welcomed and given the tour of the products they offered. I can't wait for their cafe to be open to go and sit there while working on a project or reading all while enjoying a cup or two of their delicious coffee.
