Awful experience!! We arrived for breakfast with a party of 7 (6 adults, 1 child). We were told it would be a few minute wait for them to prepare a table for us. Once our table was ready we sat down. This is when a waitress came over and told us we couldn't all sit together, because our table was only for 6 people (covid restrictions were lifted weeks ago). When asked why we couldn't, no reason was given. Our party separated into 2 tables. Only seconds later another group came in and sat 5 adults at a table for 4, and were allowed to do this by the staff. We ordered our meals (both tables) at the same time, one tables meals came out in a timely manner... however the other tables meals sat under the warming lights for at least 8 minutes before being brought to the table. The portions were an absolute joke!! Omelets are no bigger than the palm of your hand. They were hardly any toppings and it was mostly just egg. Bacon was chewy and uncooked. Everyone in our group left hungry! Meanwhile other groups came in but couldn't be seated because we were taking up 2 tables, unnecessarily. I would imagine the financial loss from this "rule" would be substantial. We also were not the only angry customers eating in the restaurant. As we were waiting for our bill, another patron went to the bar (which ironically seats 8) and expressed her displeasure with her experience. The waitresses just rolled their eyes and laughed at her! Absolutely will never be back and would recommend finding somewhere else to eat in Boyne City!!

This place is really nice, with good food. But twice now I have gone there during business hours and they are closed with no explanation. I cannot recommend someone who operates a business that way. I may find a new favorite place for my son and I.

Our new favorite place! EXCELLENT food and our waitress was awesome! We'll definitely be back! I had the stuffed hashbrowns... YUM! Husband had the Monte Cristo... it was delish!

Walked in on a Saturday (Labor Day weekend), to try this place for the first time. Needless to say, we will not be back. Being from out of town, we didn’t know how to go about getting a table. There wasn’t a hostess or hostess stand anywhere in sight, so we walked in towards the bar and proceeded to ask a waitress if the bar was open seating or if we could sit there. She didn’t know, so she asked what seemed to be the hostess, if we could sit there and she rudely said to me that there was an hour wait and we would have to get on the waitlist. She didn’t approach us or stop was she was doing, rather continued to bus tables or whatever it was she was doing. She seemed to have zero customer service skills and didn’t seem to want our business, so we kindly left. I understand it was a busy morning (11:30 am) however, the person who is the first person you see when entering a restaurant should have some sort of a personality—not be rude and in such a hurry. In my opinion, management needs to look into friendly, quality employees.

All I can say is rude employees and we didn’t get a chance to eat. Left after one told us we had to wait outside in a very rude voice even though the restaurant was virtually empty.
Think they wanted the 1:00 closing time vs the 3:00 posted time if they weren’t busy they could close
Doesn’t make me want to go back to even try the food.

Pricey for what you get. I ordered an omelette and wanted to change ham instead of sausage and they charged for an extra portion of protein.
Service was good.

First eggs Benedict I have had in years because I got tired of being disappointed. These did not disappoint they were delicious absolutely perfect hollandaise sauce and the eggs were poached to perfection. My daughter had the skillet breakfast and she said it was amazing.

Ordered the farmers omelette minus the sausage and had them add tomato and avocado and the total was $19.00, omelette was $13.00, avocado was $3.00, tomato was $3.00. For a minute I thought I was eating at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. I wouldn’t recommend this place, the food wasn’t very good, waitress staff was polite, so I guess that’s where the little bit of Sunshine lays here.

The food was ok. 2 ordered eggs benedict and the hollandaise was very good but the eggs were very overcooked. The yolks were mostly like hard boiled. The server was maybe having a bit of a bad day as there was a bit of a lack of friendliness but she was ok. It was an average experience and I will definitely give it another try!
