A great option for a Sunday morning brunch. Friendly hospitality, Northern Michigan culture, and excellent food prepared by those in the back.

Was camper at Young State Park with my husband. Decided to go have breakfast. This is the place that google showed us. Will not be going back to this place. Servers were rude. There was only two other couples in there with us. Food was not that good. Especially for there prices. Staff with manager we're loud and obnoxious. Will not be back and would not recommend this if you want edible food.

Fantastic! Coffee was strong and food tasty. Get the French toast it's 🔥!

Finally an exceptional breakfast with terrific service! Gabbie was a complete sweetheart and provided spot-on recommendations for my wife and I. Personally I had the market breakfast and it tasted great and it was perfect portion size for my appetite. On top of that, I enjoyed some delicious coffee while the meal was prepared quickly.

Stopped at this place for breakfast on a Thursday morning, three people. Two of us opted to split a three egg farmer's omelette because we didn't plan on eating a lot and usually three egg omelettes are fine for this. Asked to switch the sausage for ham and was told there'd be an up-charge for that. Sure, no problem.

The three egg omelette was supposed to have cheese, bell peppers, onions and then the ham (switched from the sausage) and the omelette literally had four diced pieces of ham, three little diced pieces of yellow bell pepper, and two or three little tiny little diced pieces of onion.

I counted because it was so silly. Comically so. I would have had a laugh (I usually shrug these things off), except the prices are on the higher end for a family restaurant ($13 for the omelette. Inflation, I get it), and the up-charge for switching to the four cubes of ham? $4. (Yes, we should have asked.)

Maybe the cook was having a bad day. Maybe the switch to ham was a bigger problem than anticipated, or asking to keep it GF with bread on a separate plate for allergy reasons caused problems. Maybe someone was miffed because we were splitting the meal. Most places don't seem to have a problem with this. I don't know. This is speculation.

Whatever the case, it left us soured over the place and we won't be visiting next time we're around.

Giving this two stars because our waitstaff and service was good (we tend to tip well and it wasn't her fault the meal was weird), and there wasn't any food cross contamination.

Just went there first time. Great good. Good price. Great service.

We are a party of 11 and made a walk in reservation. Host said there is 30 min waiting time and took the phone number. We waited about 45 min near by and recieved no call. We checked in to know about the status. Host said they are out of food and closing soon cannot accept our paty. And, host also said they are not calling anymore waiting list.

I understand about the situation of food running out but shouldn’t they call and let the waiting list know?

Extremely, pleasantly surprised!!!! I had their amazing skillet whilst my daughter enjoyed their biscuits and gravy. The staff was so friendly!!! Katie and Gabby were absolutely delightful! The food was unexpectedly unique and surprising. I hadn't had anything like it before. The eggs looked like whipped cream and were cooked to perfection!!! Everything went together like a symphony.
