Great experience here! Ordered bagels & boxes of coffee for a large party and everything was delicious, ready at the requested time, and every detail of my request was accounted for. A staff member even helped me load up my car. Highly recommend!

Food was really good, but on a Saturday don’t be surprised if you’re waiting 2 HOURS for 2 sandwiches! The staff was really nice but moved at the speed of molasses. The bagel shop Tasty’s Bagels in Plainville has the exact same quality food amazing selection of bagels for HALF the wait time even on weekends! Go there instead!

The food is GREAT but gosh darn, 25 - 30 minute wait for 2 bagel sandwiches? Since the place is so popular I think the owner should consider hiring 1 more kitchen cook to help expedite things. If you have the time, the food is worth the wait, but if you're in a rush, consider toasting your own at home.

The bagels are good but waiting 2 hours for a breakfast sandwich is unacceptable. I didn’t know it would be 2 hours because they do not set expectations with customers. We waited over an hour to order and they tell us “it will be 45 minutes to an hour” to get our food. Never again.

This was over an hour wait for the most extremely average cheese and egg bagel I’ve ever had. There was no where to sit while waiting and they called you by name when it was ready. The line to order also took an excessive amount of time.
The price wasn’t bad for the size of the sandwich, but for the amount of time I waited I’d say overall wasn’t worth it. One person took orders, a second made drinks, a third cooked. There was zero sense of urgency from the cook preparing the food, and as opposed to creating an hour long back order I feel the other two people could have done more than what ever it was they were doin. For instance take orders and make drinks. Help the cook with orders or assembling sandwiches that didn’t require cooking ingredients (cream cheese on a bagel). With the time I had, there were an abundant amount of ideas I had how to be more efficient. I would not recommend anyone go here and I will not be back.
Things you could do while you wait. Go across the street to play Bowling, get your hair done, shop around town, binge a couple episodes of your favorite TV show.

Service is extremely slow. Even when not busy, I would make sure you could allow 30-45 minutes before placing your order and another ~20-30 minutes thereafter receive your order. Staff members move very slowly and don’t appear to be doing anything to clear the long lines. I stopped by again this morning, hoping my experience would be different than the very slow experience I had right after they reopened. During my time there, they went 10-15 minutes without making any orders as the one cook restocked his area and the two women were primarily talking to customers and slowly making drinks. Over the half hour I was there, they served maybe 5 customers, while another 10+ of us waiting for the half hour just to order. Bagels and sandwiches are decent, but not anywhere near worth the very long wait and subpar service.

SO SLOW, WHY? We got here at 8:00am on Saturday morning. It still took 25 mins and they were out of cream cheese. Huh? There was only one other person in line so it wasn’t even crowded. Bagels are good but not worth the wait. Cafe Fresh is delicious and takes maybe 10 minutes. Not coming back.

I normally love this place and think the food is unreal. However, the amount of time it takes to get one bagel sandwich is ridiculous. I watched the chef stand next to the grill for over 10 minutes not cooking a single item. With astlest 10 people waiting for there food at the same time. Seems like the chef lost his passion and is just moping around completely checked out. Lady owner is the best. Either add another chef to get bagel sandwiches out in under 10 mins or you will slowly lose all your customers. Please

Useless sevice. One person taking orders. 45 min wait for a bagel sandwich!!! Not worth it at all!!

I tried this place at someone’s recommendation and was so disappointed. I visited on a Friday morning and it took an HOUR to get a bagel. It wasn’t super busy but the staff are so inefficient it left my head spinning. The woman taking orders would literally walk away in the middle of taking an order to go bag up another order. The other woman there was walking around doing unnecessary things like adding bagels to the already filled shelf, filling a half full napkin dispenser while orders piled up around her. The chef was continually working but no one else helped him not even once! He had to get the bagels, cut them, toast them, prepare all the eggs and meats, assemble the sandwiches then box them up. Surely one of the women could have at least helped him toast some bagels. After all that the bagels aren’t even good. If you were to slap some fresh bacon and eggs on a Dunkin’ Donuts bagel you’d get the same result. I was so disappointed. Seems like this is a place where a lot of regulars hang out. They must overlook everything else for the vibe. Don’t get me started on the ice coffee, I took 2 sips and threw it away. Seems like everyone orders fancy drinks with caramel sauce and flavoring to mask the taste.
