That coffee was awesome! Staff was super nice, too. I didn't have the time for food. I maybe on my next trip because I'm definitely gonna need to have some more of that quality java again.

What a great re-use of Kathy's Diner! The updated setting makes use of a back room that was unavailable to customers in the previous incarnation, leaving the beautifully remodeled dining car exclusively for customer seating. There will be no drafts in the winter, as the entrance has been moved to the back room.

The only reason it lost a star is because the wi-fi did not work, and due to the metal walls, standard cell coverage was spotty, making it an unreliable mobile work location. If you are reading or visiting with a friend, however, this is a charming addition to the coffee shop scene!

Great cup of coffee and that bowl of oats hit the spot. I ordered online and it was ready in maybe 5 minutes and the staff was super nice. Larry Bird Approved.

Great nitro coffee! Sitting on strong avenue at a reasonable distance from other diners. Totally contactless using the qr code on the table. Just lovely.

Crossaint wasn’t even warmed up and paid $10.50 for the most below average egg and cheese I’ve ever tasted. 😂

Good food, fast service, pleasant atmosphere.

I'm showing my age here, but with a name like Familiars, I'd expect face-to-face interactions with people who come to recognize me. Instead I scan a QR code, verify my identity, and pick up my coffee from a table - not all that Familiar.

Unbelievable coffee and service. Amazing what they've done with the place and the attention to detail in relation to every aspect of the business. I live an hour away in South Windsor, CT and I travel there usually more than once a month since nothing compares.
