had an amazing vegan brunch and got freshly roasted counter culture coffee for my home setup.

Tried to get a breakfast bagel and coffee. Took 10 minutes to get the coffee order for 4 people, and the bagels with cream cheese were not toasted and had wayyy too much cream cheese. 2/3 of the actual location was roped off and only one party at a time was allowed in to order - before picking up your order outside on the other side.

Maybe because it’s the summer this wasn’t the best time to go, but for a Saturday morning that was too much money for a meh bagel and 10 minute coffee order to eat outside in 80 degree weather.

Food was good, albeit my GF toast needed a little extra time for any resemblance of a crunk. Drinks were creative. Loved the location, seating, as well as vibe. Unfortunately, if you are not local, you can easily get confused by the setup. Seeing how you had to order online, (which is kind of weird as it is), you also have to choose *where* your food is placed at that time. So we chose the bike path and had no idea where our food was because, how would anyone non-local know that? There was no signage, no descriptor when placing order, etc. I didn't come to brunch to go on a scavenger hunt!

The coffee and pastries are soooo good and the staff is really sweet and helpful, I will definitely be returning

Lovely patio seating with quick and easy touchless ordering from the tables. Food and drinks are excellent. Prices reasonable. One of the best secrets of Northampton.

There are a ton of coffee shops in Northampton but IMO Familiars is the best. Their food options are great too and I really appreciate that they are still exercising caution about covid and have curbside pick-up and ample outdoor seating.

Adorable, queer-owned and friendly spot. Got to enjoy the live music on Sunday (3-6pm). The spot is also dog friendly, so you can bring your pup along. Ours is an 80lb mastiff - one of the owner came out to meet our pup specifically, so no issues there. The strawberry lemonade was great, as was the chicken salad sandwich. Would absolutely go back. Only issue might be the lack of a bathroom, but otherwise, I can't think of any problems.

This is a nice spot but only because the city turned Strong Ave. into a pedestrianized street with outdoor cafe seating. The service here is maddening. You have to fumble with their website on your phone to place an order and then wait to be called. With less tech-savvy old folks and a larger group it becomes super confusing to look at the menu and order. You are forced to use a smartphone. And this is well after all other restaurants have reopened to the public. My other peeve is that everything is served in disposable single-use plastic etc. that goes right into the trash cans on the street. This is Northampton for god's sake. Try offering compostable containers or better yet reusable. I will avoid going here because it's such a trash factory.

Cool little coffee shop/breakfast place with a great selection of vegetarian options

Excellent coffee and sandwiches. I love their outdoor seating by the bike path and along the sidewalk. The online ordering system is very convenient once you figure it out.
