The Industry Bar & Grill

At 4:40 PM we were 40 minutes behind schedule when we arrived at The Industry before heading to nearby Franklin Park Zoo for a 6 PM timed entry ticket. We were immediately seated and a very attentive and helpful server insured we got our meals quickly. The meals were good portions of very good food. Although very rushed, we enjoyed a very nice meal and were able to get to the zoo in time. This was our first visit to The Industry (thanks to a Groupon) but we will return.

This place is a great place to get together with friends and/or family. With great customer service (both in the dinning room or at the bar), they have a great atmosphere and really yummy food. The multiples times I have gone to eat here, my waitress was Karen who was so friendly and attentive and got our orders just right and delivered in a timely manner. When I've eaten at the bar, Brian the bartender had waited on my multiple times and was super friendly and was great with recommending his favorite dishes or what was most popular on the menu. One of my favorite places to eat in Dorchester!!

The food was not the best. Pasta pre cook and was pretty much mush. Fish and chips was not properly cooked, batter could be peeled right off, and the fish was still translucent, sent that back and the manager tries to cover it up saying that the translucent part was the batter. Tried the shepherds pie also, everything was bland and mediocre.

The place’s vibe is dead, with manager randomly walking around making small conversations.

Over all experience 2/5. Great bar but not the food.

We booked an area at The Industry for a bereavement reception. Although it was a sad reason to be there, everything was fantastic! Donna and the rest of the staff were extremely polite, kind, and professional. The buffet they set up for us was beautiful and delicious. They were flexible since we weren't sure exactly how many people would attend. I would recommend The Industry for lunch, dinner, or any special occasion. The restaurant is accommodating, friendly and elegant.

This place is a DISASTER. It took 40 minutes to get our first round of drinks. At 1hr 15m we still didn’t have our food and our waitress never came back once to refill our water or take another drink order. At 1hr 30m I got up and found the manager and told him what was going on. 5 minutes later he came over to confirm our food order. We told him to just bring our check for the drinks and we’d get food elsewhere. He did but was very argumentative that our food was almost ready. We paid our bill and ordered pizza. Will never, ever, come back here.

They're Irish chicken curry really good! Waitress are really sweet. This 2nd time around a bit disappointing. Found a long hair in my peach cocktail. My second drink should of been on the house but no it wasn't. When things like this happen they're suppose to please the customer.

My friend and I had lunch at the Industry on Saturday and we had a great experience. We were looking for a place that was willing to accommodate us outside with a dog, and Brian right from when we walked in was very welcoming. About a minute after we sat down, Brian came out with waters for us and our dog :) The service was really quick and the food was great. They were consistently making sure that we had everything we needed. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the neighborhood!

We were in the area and decided to try it out, drove past it a bunch. Not disappointed at all ! The food was great, i had the wings, and they were delicious ! Definitely try if you're in the area. Even if its just for drinks, i had 3 drinks while there and they were all yummy and the service was great! :)

Great food, atmosphere, and friendly and professional staff! Their duck fat wings are to die for, and the steak, delicious! If you are in the area you have to check them out for yourself. You won't be disappointed! Will be back as soon as possible!

Love this place! I always make sure to order a side of wings with my pepperoni pizza. They are so crispy and delicious! All of the servers are super friendly, fast and best of all it’s so clean! It’s my go to restaurant for pizza and wings any night of the week!
