They truly know what they’re doing when it comes to coffee🙌🏾

Wine? Coffee? Tea? Whiskey? Lemon pound cake? Amherst Coffee has got you covered. Great place for studying, hanging out with friends, or a date. Friendly staff. Nice ambience.

Best of both worlds: a quality coffee shop and bar. It smells amazing and there’s a lot of creative cocktails, a few beers on tap, and a small wine selection.

Amherst Coffee is a best place in town to grab a coffee and study. They have decent selection of pastries, muffins and other side menus and good espresso. Their espresso is on the stronger side, but you can always ask them to make decaf Americano or Latte. I really like their ice chai and granolas.

An awesome cappuccino, chill atmosphere, and great people. The matcha is also amazing. Only complaint is how dark it gets at night, so it's impossible to do readings inside.

A lovely place to set and drink a coffee. Probably one of two places to socialise in the town. And have a nice and very friendlier crews. It is closed for indoor dining these days. I hope it reopens soon.

I had tea for the first time at Amherst Coffee and it certainly was the right choice! I love getting loose lead tea and toast here. Also, the hot chocolate is wonderful as well.

Perfect location and ambience. Many a gradschool assignment has been completed there, either alone or with classmates. Also very good for some alone time. If with company, the house Red, usually italian, does not dissappoint. some more power outlets or extensions would have been useful, especially around the center table.

The quality of the coffee is good but it seems like the staff do not understand the difference between coffee drinks. I have ordered a flat white and a cappuccino and I’ve been handed a very standard latte both times. I have also seen this happen to several other people while waiting for my drinks. There’s a big difference between a cappuccino and a latte and just calling out the word isn’t the same as making the drink. I really should have complained given that it is a $4 teeny tiny cup of coffee... and I really don’t think it’s worth it.

Update: I asked the staff about the apprent lack of drink distinction and was told “we let our customers call their drinks whatever they want but we serve one standard preparation.” I’m just speechless. I will not be going here anymore.

Paid $6 for water with a dash of matcha. Worker was rude about what my drink was.
