Amherst Coffee + Bar

I've only had the opportunity to enjoy the Coffee side of Amherst Coffee + Bar but since moving to the area it has steadily become my go to. Whether I'm popping in to grab a coffee or cold brewed matcha then run, or I have the chance to sit and enjoy an excellent cappuccino I'm always happy on my way out the door. Usually with an oversized chocolate chip cookie I can never seem to pass up. The setting is relaxed, friendly, approachable, and blues plays just loud enough to be enjoyed without feeling like you must speak over it.

The drip coffee was great and ready quickly, which is all I can ask for. The cost was comparable to most other coffee shops. I would absolutely return for more.

Nice atmosphere and good coffee and bar options right in the centre of town.

I think part of our order was forgotten as we awkwardly stood at the counter while other customers came and left with their orders. They did not have a dark roast, so the hubby wasn't happy. We had matcha latte and it was liquid and powder chunks. Really unimpressive.

Awesome bar with great craft cocktails. MTV beach haus and loverboy are great drinks. Friendly staff and a great vibe. Skip the trash bars, go here. Highly recommend.

Very smooth nitro cold brew and amazing chocolate croissant.

Good vibe and cozy atmosphere. The staffs are friendly and willing to help us. That makes coffee even more delicious.

Great cappuccinos. Turns into a moody wine bar at night. The ambience is wonderful and this is a great place to post up and people watch, maybe work for a bit. The baristas have always been kind and helpful over the 6 years I've been going there.

This is a space I’ve often come to work and dropped in today in between meetings. I’m frustrated to say that they no longer offer
Wifi in house to do work but rely on the poor public service. They have few outlets for folks who need to charge their computers, and their drinks have really taken an unfortunate turn. The coffee is watery the the pasty’s seem dry and old. For the amount of money you spend to sit in , I’d recommend finding another coffee shop.
