A little different set up than most restaurants. When you walk in you grab a menu and seat yourself. Then once you've decided what to order you go up to the counter to do so. Very friendly workers. I ordered the Eggs Benedict chicken and waffles and it was delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful, the waffle was fluffy and sweet, the poached eggs were a oddly great addition. I would definitely come back here just for that.

Great little business with friendly, competent staff. The way it works is you grab a menu, seat yourself, then when you’re ready you order and pay at the bar. They’ll give you a number and bring your food to your table. We went on a Saturday morning (party of two) and it was pretty busy, but we still managed to find a table. They offer a gluten free bread option and a make your own omelette. The coffee seemed a little pricey at first ($5/cup), but when I asked a waitress about it she told me they get it locally from Chesapeake Bay Coffee company in Silver Spring, MD. So the big takeaway is everything about this place is supportive of local businesses. Their coffee mugs are local schools and businesses. They sell local coffee. They have local business cards when you walk through the front door. It’s a great little vibe in here. Highly recommend.

When I first tried this establishment I was blown away…and I gave a glowing five star review. Unfortunately, every time I’ve been back since it’s been a worse and worse experience and honestly, I doubt I’ll be going back anytime soon. I couldn’t in good conscious leave up my five star review and show photos of the delicious meal I experienced originally because it hasn’t happened since! The next visit we waited and waited for our meals and then received undercooked omelettes with basically raw ingredients inside! We were so hungry we did our best to eat it but it was also flavorless. So very disappointing from the first experience when I had enjoyed an item I have not seen on the menus since (shrimp & grits). Since it was so busy that day I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and consider it an off day. My daughter was visiting and I decided to take her because she loves to try new places and I hoped that I had just experienced an off day. This time we decided to go a bit earlier hoping it wouldn’t be quite so busy and we would receive better service & food. Again the menu wasn’t that impressive there wasn’t as many selections as the first time we visited. So once again we decided to try omelettes. There were only two other table with people and they still managed to get my daughters order wrong. :-( The food was tasteless and the service, well let’s just say we ended up being there for quite awhile talking since she was visiting from out of town and in that time no one came by to check how our meal was (so we didn’t have the opportunity to let them know the order was incorrect) and no one ever refilled our waters or coffee. We ended up not eating our entire meal because honestly it just wasn’t that good and we figured we could doctor up the leftovers at home and reheat. However, with no one ever checking on us again I finally decided to go to up and request boxes to go. Let me also say, they were no short staffed….there were three employees in a huddle with their backs to the customers just talking. So incredibly disappointing!! I had high hopes for this establishment after the terrific first impression but if this continues I don’t see how they will last. We definitely won’t be going back anytime soon. So it’s back to Dream Weaver and I guess IHOP?? for breakfast in Prince Frederick.

The wife and I went for breakfast. The food was very good and the atmosphere was good as well. We had the chicken biscuit, breakfast sandwich and beignets. Everything came out quick but the beignets were undercooked (they replaced them quick and with no issues). The sandwiches were very flavorful but it's impossible to eat them without silverware. Overall we will return.

Food and coffee were good, and the people working there were friendly. My friend and I decided to stop in for brunch on a Sunday. They were pretty busy. We were able to order fairly quickly, but had to wait a while for the food to come out. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We both had an omelet with the home fries. We split an order of the French Donuts which were freshly made and not too sweet, but they're rather dense. There are lots of choices on the menu, so I'll definitely go back and try some other items. It's nice to have options that aren't chain restaurants.

This is a fantastic breakfast spot! The food is always on point and it’s not your run of the mill offerings. There is a wide variety of offerings. My go-to is always a croissant with sausage, egg and cheese with a side of potatoes.

Finally was able to stop in and see what all the fuss was about! Took my mom because I knew she would like several of the menu items she can't find at other places. We came in at 1pm an hour before closing. Right off the bat greeted by friendly staff and service overall was excellent. Mom had the gyro and ordered a stuffed ham sandwich to go (it was enough for two people!) I had the crab dog and let me tell you it was delicious with the sauce on it and a potato hot dog bun. Big steak fries were good too. Next time we will go early and try breakfast.

Just finished having breakfast here with my husband, parents and grandmother and we were all blown away! The portions are huge and the prices are great. My sausage, mushroom and swiss omelette was fantastic and they definitely didn't skimp on the filling and the home fries were perfectly seasoned. My husbands chicken biscuit was juicy and crispy. Everyone's food was packed with flavor and we left happy and full. I'm also sure I'm going to have dreams about the apple spice muffin!

My husband and I were visiting from NC for the holiday but we'll definitely be back next time we're in Calvert!
