Wonderful Cafe! Great menu offerings. Excellent food. Exceptionally attentive and personable staff. And the owner is a nice guy, too! Support this wonderful, local business when in the area.

This place is awesome! I have eaten here several times now and have not been disappointed yet! The shrimp and grits are top of my list. The grits are creamy and the shrimp are large and the gravy makes you want more! I also tried the crabby eggs benedict. The poached egg and the sauce combine for a creamy richness that pairs with the lump crab meat that satisfies. Chef Bobby has crafted a base menu that is delicious and showcases traditional breakfast dishes. He also rotates specials on the weekends that will leave you wanting more. Stop in there and tell them Fab sent you.

Supporting Local Small Business is always your best option. This unique eatery in the heart of Calvert County is delicious. Great selection of local specialties. Very friendly atmosphere.

Decided to finally try this place and we were not disappointed! Everything was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I will definitely choose this place over the big chain breakfast restaurants from now on. Nice staff as well.

Bulrushes Cafe is amazing! My boyfriend and I went for the first time this morning and it was great. Their service is great, the ambiance is nice and the food was phenomenal. It’s definitely better than a chain restaurant, their dining area is very clean and we really enjoyed ourselves. Can’t wait to go again!

This place is terrific! Clean, friendly, and every bite of everything we ordered was delicious. The Greek omelette was perfect, light and fluffy with fresh spinach! There beignets are to-die-for and my husband said the SOS is as good as being at 29 palms.
Must try!

The food was ok but I wouod not order the chicken and waffles again. My daughter's croissant was burnt which is becoming a norm for restaurants. Hopefully the owners will address serving burnt food. Otherwise it was a nice place and good staff.

Really looked forward to coming here after reviewing their menu. Lunch didn't start until noon, but we were willing to wait until we saw that the lamb burger we came in for wasn't on the menu today.

COVID Safety Protocols are practically non-existent for such a small place. They leave the menus out front for you to grab and find a table (only one closed off), you have to wait in line at the register in back to order, and while we were sitting reviewing the menu people just kept piling into the place. Very irresponsible especially considering they had plenty of workers standing behind the counter

We do want try this place and intend to come back, just not today........

01/22/2021 UPDATE:
As I mentioned above I said they'd we'd try this place again and we did. We each had the Greek Burgers and Beignets beforehand, everything was delicious and well worth the visit.
Business was still being conducted as mentioned above, however while still doing a lively business it wasn't as hectic as it had been on Sunday.
You won't be disappointed in their food, another fine culinary treat to Prince Frederick

I went with friends excited to give the new cafe a try. I ordered the Belgian Waffle. The menu description says “Topped with macerated berries and whipped cream, butter, and warm maple syrup”. But what I got was a small (think syrup cup size) plastic cup of thawed frozen berries (mashed and mushy), a plastic cup of syrup and a waffle you get at a hotel breakfast. The menu description was much more appetizing than the actual dish and over priced for what I got. The atmosphere is cute but the service and food was less than I expected or hoped for.
