Bulrushes Cafe

I live in Prince Frederick and really excited to try the place out. To say the least it was a let down. Staff were super friendly and sweet. The atmosphere was really nice, but the food was not impressive. The potatoes with their garlic? Seasoning wasn’t very good, biscuits and gravy (gravy was too thick) omelet which I requested bacon instead of ham ( I still got ham and the vegetables were not cooked at all). Whyyyy!!!?! Hopefully, this isn’t the regular and it was a fluke. But breakfast isn’t a difficult meal to make. For what I spent, should have been better.

the service and staff were wonderful! however the food itself wasn't very satisfying, had the chicken and waffle and the chicken was a tad on the dark side and wasn't seasoned too well. The waffle however was soft and delicious, I had a good time overall.

Not Interested...I had to work for my meal. From taking my order, drinks, getting boxes, and bussing the table, I had to do it all. Then they want tips! Given this, the limited hours of operation, and scrambling to find the weekend menus online, I'm not going back.

The food is incredible and the staff is super friendly. Feels like you walk into a dear friend's place! They make all their pastries, cinnamon rolls, sticky pecan rolls and even have a daily muffin! Its a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch and they even display local artists' work. A must try if you are in the area!

We ordered takeout, and it was delicious! The staff was kind and friendly, the food took a little while, but it was definitely worth it. I had the Sunday special "Ultimate Breakfast burger," and can't wait to go back and have some chicken and waffles.

Be aware that seating is first-come, first-served, at least on Sundays, and is limited because of COVID. But we did takeout and it worked out great!

Great brunch place. Food flavor was awesome, fairly large portions, good variety, great use of herbs and spices... definitely worth the visit.

I love going to Bulrushes not only for the food but customer service is top notch! The staff are friendly and knows their customers and their likes and dislikes.

Cute place but the food was basic. Eggs were fried with cheese food folded in. I am having trouble describing the french toast (wet bread with cinnamon and vanilla).

My partner says his chicken fried steak was tasty.

My family and I eat here at least three times a week. Breakfast is unreal I’ve tried almost everything and never been disappointed. Perfect place for breakfast or brunch.Highly recommend shrimp and grits on the weekend. Great dine in area and they have already assembled a great team to handle to go orders if you’re not feeling dining in.

Really high hopes for this place but kind of fizzled. My fiancée ordered shrimp and grits and it was cold. She also had a hard time getting past how greasy it was. My omelet was good! Another in our party enjoyed her cinnamon brown sugar homemade pop tart.
