The food is good but the bakery is not. I’m not sure if they refrigerate their bakery but you can’t clearly taste and smell the refrigerator smell in them (tried their croissants multiple times). They overflow their iced coffee to a point where you can put the straw through.
However, the location is nice and the staff is really lovely.

Had brunch on Saturday. The food was excellent. The Tatte latte is really good. Finding an open table before our food was ready was easy too. We got lucky with a small table that fit our dishes well.Highly recommended.

Perfect place for brunch. Their menu has plenty of yummy options to choose and their service is fast.

At 9 AM my pistachio croissant was day-old stale. And had very little pistachio paste. Costco croissants taste more buttery. Maybe the taste is better when not stale? On the positive side it was absolutely beautiful. Cappuccino is quite good.

Tatte is a beautiful bakery. But at this point I think you’re paying for the reputation / acclaim it has gained and the atmosphere. Because I don’t think the pastries or coffee are quite worth the price, though they are generally tasty.

We enjoyed brunch after brunch at Tatte Bakery & Cafe in Bethesda!! The baked goods were sumptuous. The breakfast sandwiches were so wonderful that we had to go back throughout our vacation in the DC area.
Staff members are extremely pleasant, only adding to the superb experience.

My husband and I stopped by Tatte for a quick bite. The smell of freshly baked goodies hit us as soon as we entered and we had a tough time deciding what to have. I loved the morning bun and hot chocolate. We would've spent more time there but it was pretty crowded. Suggest going there earlier in the day for a quieter environment.

One of the best coffee shops and breakfast spots around! We ordered two breakfast sandwiches, Halva lattes, morning bun, croissant, and a Halva brownie for the road. Food never disappoints and quality/consistency always stays true across their locations.
The interior and atmosphere is super bright, clean, and welcoming which makes it always hard to leave!

When visiting my Maryland family, I eat here almost every morning. The pastries are not quite on par with the bakeries I frequent in SF but most of the food is delicious. I highly recommend the granola with berries and labneh or the breakfast sandwich.

Great coffee and enjoyed their halva cookie which was unexpectedly good.
