A tad bit on the pricey side for what you get. I ordered French toast (sweet) and the crust area was burnt. The inside part of the bread was softer but for the price, meh.

Note: the restaurant gets packed pretty quickly. Seating is hard to find.

We had brunch on a Saturday. The food was excellent. The Tatte latte is really good. Finding an open table before our food was ready was difficult though. We got lucky with a small table that opened up but it was hard to fit all our dishes in a table for one person.

Brunch on Sundays! My favorite is the oat milk vanilla latte! Croque madame with gravy! Omg and the shakshuka. French toast for your taste buds

I’ve been having breakfast here every morning during my stay in Bethesda. Cozy place, great and fast service and very tasty pastries, egg-style breakfasts, and sandwiches. Highly recommended!

We walked over to Tatte from the Bethesdaen Hotel and a great brunch! Jon ❤️ordered the LAMB HASH* – $14.50
Lamb cooked in warm spices sautéed with potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, and pickled red cabbage topped with poached egg* and green dressing. Served with roasted garlic labneh, tomato salad, and housemade challah & I had the EGG IN A HOLE* – $12
Two fried eggs* nestled in a housemade sesame Jerusalem bagel served with tomato salad. Both were filling and light.
The staff was quick, efficient, and friendly.

Beautiful ambiance
Lovely display of pastries
High ceiling with huge windows
Strong robust coffee
Tatte has it all.

I wish the food was better though. I came three times for lunch and tried 7 different entrees by now. I would always order things that are popular or recommend by the staff. However nothing was all that memorable.

Croissants, Kouign-amann, monkey bread were all okay. Nothing spectacular.
The shashouka lacked flavor, tartines were ordinary, lamb hash was just okay, halloumi salad was meh, croissant sandwiches were too salty (got it with turkey ham). Honestly, in terms of food, there is nothing wow worthy. Just enjoy the vibe, grab a cake or pastries along with espresso drinks.

Tatte is a restaurant I really want to like yet was never satisfied.

We came here for a late lunch, and everything was delicious. The interior was very cute and welcoming, and there was plenty of seating both inside and outside. We ordered a lamb hash, a chocolate rose muffin, and an iced chai latte. The lamb hash and iced chai latte were excellent, and the chocolate rose muffin was similar in texture to a dense croissant. It was a little dry on the edges, but it was still delicious. The portions were huge, and the service was great. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

Enjoyed a nice lunch with my daughter & son. She ordered the Croque Monsieur breakfast sandwich and I had the lamb kabob with pickled red cabbage, carrots, and cauliflower served with a Za’atar pita, chick pea purée, baba ganoush with labneh and parsley. My son has a grilled cheese and we shared a pistachio cherry tart. We also had a nice cup of coffee and lemon chamomile tea.

We just came back from Oregon and found this place actually serve Stumptown Coffee, which is great coffee we had a few days ago. However, the americano is too diluted to our taste. Nonetheless, pastries are good, breakfast food is good, environment and service is fantastic. Bethesda deserves good coffee shops, this might be one of them. Between 4.5 to 5……

Such a lively and beautiful cafe. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first walk in. Order at the register by the green menu and Bethesda sign on the wall.

We had the roasted peach & ricotta tart one and the seasonal corn and spinach shakshuka from the brunch menu. Both were outrageously delicious and reasonably priced for the portion and quality. I feel like this place should be way more expensive than it is.

Will definitely frequent this place for brunch and for a quick meal or coffee.
