Roots Cafe

Their breakfast is amazing. I wish we had a place like this close by. They have egg parfaits, muffins, great coffee... Great options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike, but not as many options for vegans. I appreciate that the ingredients are simple and natural. High quality food worth the price.

Our first time visiting Maine and we stopped here for breakfast. The food is organic and absolutely delicious! It’s also incredibly reasonably priced. On our way out we realized it’s a Christian establishment, which we thought was very cool, but it’s definitely a welcoming environment for anyone! Very clean and well decorated, would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Service was fantastic! Food was delicious! Pricing is less than chain coffee places! The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and bright. Can’t wait to try the roof top this spring. Highly recommend this place. You can’t go wrong!

I love this place. I am on a gluten free diet and everything here is gluten free and tastes fantastic. The coffee is excellent. The folks who work here are friendly, efficient and just really nice. The atmosphere is so pleasant to sit and have breakfast in. I know I will keep going back.

Excellent, Roots is a favorite place! I had a delicious blueberry lemon scone and a cup of dark roast! It took a lot of self control not to eat another scone!

All of the food there is gluten free it is amazing place to go if you are gluten free comfortable place to hang out and chat, lots of open space and no pressure

Roots Cafe was an essential part of our mornings when we were on vacation for the weekend out here. Exceptional staff and the coffee and crepes are amazing!

Such great staff and atmosphere! They even gave my son a toy which he loved.
