Tandem Coffee and Bakery

The food here is amazing good. It's almost unreal. I felt like I was eating heaven. We ordered the pistachio cake, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and everything seasoned scone. I can't begin to explain how good this place is. Great coffee as well! We got the iced mocha and dirty chai latte. So so good. We will be back!

Everything was excellent! We enjoyed the biscuit & jam and the malted iced coffee.

Worth the wait. We went on a busy Saturday morning and ordered a jelly + butter biscuit and an egg + ham biscuit. Both were delicious.

Such good coffee! There was a long line when we arrived but they got us our coffees very quickly! Definitely recommend checking them out!

Didn't live up to expectations set by "Milk Street" hype. Bought 5 different items. All were insipid and uninspired. Not worth a "destination" trip. Will give it a 2nd try if on the way to another destination.

Sneeze guard very low and everyone leans over it to spit their orders.

Can food places just stop being disgusting. Why is it so hard?

This is the spot for baked good and coffee. Where we were in Portland we stopped in twice! The loaded biscuits ! OMG We were so Philly, we just picked it up whole and ate it like a sandwich. I think your supposed to separate it and be more polite about it. The salt on top is just the right added touch. We went back and got some supplies for our camp up in Rangeley and got some cinnamon buns. Made my day !!

Omg this is so good. We got there too late and the breakfast sandwich was sold out (10:45a) but got a slice of ham and cheese quiche and a butter and jam biscuit and they were both incredible, great vibe in here, must do for foodies

Outstanding coffee? Check. Creative iced coffee with barley malt syrup? Right on. Kimchi and Cheddar scone that blows your mind? But of course. Chocolate horchata pie with rich dark chocolate and creamy topping (basically a radically amped up chocolate cream pie) that makes me never want touch anything inferior ever again? Hell yeah. This place is a must visit when in Portland. Move over Holy Donuts- this is the best place in Portland for me! Ticks ALL the boxes.

The Tandem Bakery is a pretty cool spot outside of town. I'm a big egg sandwich connoisseur from NYC metro and grew up on breakfast sandwiches. I'm typically not a fan at all of pre made/baked egg sandwiches, but Tandem flipped the script. They put together an excellent pre made sandwich with meat and veggie options on an excellent biscuit. I ate mine in less than five minutes and immediately bought another before leaving! I also thoroughly enjoyed their latte and black sesame banana bread!
