Coffee was lovely, but the pastries were even better! We had the horchata chocolate pie and it was one of the most interesting and delicious pies I've ever had.

Amazing biscuits, pastries, breakfast & drinks. Highly recommend stopping here.

It’s housed in an old gas station and has a really cool, hip vibe. It seems to be a favorite of locals and tourists both so you get a great crowd.

It was my first time in town so I told to the baristas about what to order and what to do with the rest of my day. They were so kind and helpful. If you’re in the area, you should add this to you list of places to eat while in town!

Tandem has a great vibe, fantastic breakfast biscuits and is always a great stop when you are in Portland. Busy and worth it!
Great coffee and baked goods. So good to be there when everything is open and vibrant.
The order takers weren’t too attentive and skipped me for men standing behind me. Baked goods are quite tasty.

Funky flavors- but if you like creative eats you’ll love it. No notices on dietary restrictions/contents of food really. Limited menu I mean. Lack of seating but they’re small- better in summer probably with outside seating. Really great oatmeal. Amazing looking pastries. Drip coffee was just ok but cute mugs and nice staff

I can't speak to the coffee but the scones and biscuits are crunchy, dynamic, luscious in flavor and texture. I had the date and chocolate scone and they also incorporate a streusel (?) crumble on top. Breakfast sandwich with broken up sausage, fluffy eggs, and cheese was delicious too.

Don’t let yourself leave without having a pastry with your coffee. From scones and quiche to drip coffees and cappuccinos, Tandem does it right. Space is limited inside, so bring your to-go cup or be willing to wait for a table or countertop seat.

Anyone who reads my reviews knows I do not review in superlatives. However, my breakfast sandwich here was one of the best I have had. Semi sweet bread with some salt and very flavorful bacon was an explosion of flavor. To top it off the coffee I had was the best I have had yet in Portland. This sandwich is unique and worth trying for anyone. I strongly suggest a pre-order because this venue also has lines, but worth the wait.

My go-to coffee spot in Portland. Perfect cortado, delicious pastries, and the egg biscuit sandwich is out of this world good. Spacious and airy with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are so friendly too.

Really good breakfast sandwich and oatmeal! Coffee is excellent too.

We went for pastries after breakfast and, oh my gosh. First of all, so many great choices! I really enjoyed the banana bread. The guava scone was great, too.
