I dunno what they make their biscuits with, but it's delish. Loaded jam biscuit was HUGE and took me an hour to nibble on. Lol

Loved the vibe, patio was great, line moved so fast for a coffee shop that was slammed in the AM. I had a black ice coffee, was fantastic would love to come back and try the malted ice coffee. Also had tried the daily quiche and a biscuit with jam and butter which I would say all of the food was absolutely incredible, flavorful and thoughtful.

I have never had a malted coffee before and this place hits it out of the park. Tastes just like a malted milk ball if that’s your speed. Their coffee in general is great and their délectables like their giant cinnamon rolls and pistachio bread are on point.

I hit up Tandem on my way to Boston and was surprised by this sweet gem on the west end of Portland. Cool staff, friendly people, and AMAZING coffee. Definitely THE best coffee shop in Portland!.

Super delicious. The cordado was a little too acidic for me but that was the only negative. The kimchi sharp cheddar scone was seriously one of the best scones I’ve ever had. The loaded biscuit with cream cheese and pepper jelly was so good too. We also tried to coconut spelt cake which was the perfect not-too-sweet bread. Absolutely will be back to try more!

Delicious coffee & pastries, lots to choose from.

We happened upon this place by chance and I'm very glad we stopped by. That was genuinely some of the best coffee/pastry/breakfast sandwich we've had in a long time.

When the line reaches the road before they're even open, you know you have to try it.

Light, bright and hip coffee shop and bakery - a bit of Williamsburg in Portland. Baked goods are phenomenal and interesting. Coffee is way above board. Espresso service with sparkling water. Loving everything about this place.

Take out coffee and breakfast. Premade breakfast sandwiches and biscuits with butter and jelly. No way to customize anything, so if you have any allergies or sensitivities you are SOL. Biscuit with butter and strawberry jelly (again, no choice) was ok. There was WAY too much butter (like over half a stick) and barely any jelly on the biscuit (mostly spilling out one side) and I ended up throwing most of the filling away.
Biting into a biscuit that was mostly cold butter is kind of gross. That said, the biscuit, once I got rid of the glob of cold butter, was decent. Obviously made recently, and well made. Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. I just wish it had had less butter and more jelly. It was super pretty and photographed well though.
My partner got the breakfast sandwich with cheese, chorizo, and egg (no choice again). She said it was good for a premade sandwich, but greasy. For the hype I was kind of disappointed. My guess is they've had trouble adapting to the pandemic situations, so I will definitely try again in the future.

I came for blueberry scones and found out they are out of season but the blood orange scones were really delicious as well.
