I like the atmosphere. Very small though so can be hard to find a spot to sit. The food is mid, the drinks are pretty good tho

Very cool atmosphere at a unique and quaint Lawrence downtown. Loved the Free Speech Zone and the coffee options were great and quality. Definitely worth checking out if you like coffee shops and are in Lawrence.

Lovely shop hidden away serving a wide range of drinks. They have gluten free and regular bakery items. The place looks tiny on first look but entertaining it just keeps going with multiple side rooms. Giving a private quiet feeling.

My hubs and I were just turned away from the big box coffee house that closed promptly at 7. Went there bcuz it was close and assumed others would be closed. WRONG!! Found this place a block away and we couldn’t be happier! The Universe works in fabulous ways!
First of all the customer service Myles provided was OUTSTANDING! What a delightful person. We took his recommendations and had the Vanilla Blossom(which has house made lavender syrup). I know- I know- ITS AMAZING!!! OMG! And a Chocolate Cherry coffee w almond syrup. Both are HEAVEN. Not to mention the space has a very eclectic yet welcoming vibe. Whenever I’m in Lawrence- I will regularly choose The Java Break for a coffee treat! Myles gave a few other recommendations of locally owned coffee shops- will try them as well!

For me a best coffee place, I discovered until now in Lawrence. It is the best place to study, read your favorite books or maybe newspaper and listen some good music while enjoying every sip of your latte or cappuccino (that's because most of the times I ordered a hot drink). Also, u can try various cold drinks they offer, they are pretty good. The overall ambiance is kinda cool.

What? Who's ever heard of a cereal bar? You can get all the major cold breakfast cereals here! And they make warm foods, vegan food, muffins, cookies, and all the delicious smoothies and coffee drinks.

Literally amazing. So many nice people and I love how its made and the food is just *mwah* chefs kiss.

Great press, nitro, cold brew and specialty coffee, cereal bar and more. Their gluten free cheese cake is probably best in Lawrence if not the surrounding area. This place is 10x better than Starbucks or any other franchise coffee shop.

Great variety of specialty coffee and tea drinks; wonderful pastries and sandwiches.

It is very quirky and the drink that I got (camomile tea with steamed milk and house made lavender syrup) was surprisingly good. I wish there is better sitting arrangement, tho.
